Why does it have oats as an ingredient if it is grain free?

Hi, there are no oats in the Barking Heads Pooched Salmon Grain-Free recipe. The main ingredients in the recipe are Salmon, Sweet Potato, Peas, Potato and herbs. Hope that helps.

Is this authentic Barking Heads dog food? It’s totally different in size, shape & colour from a batch previously bought from a well known supermarket!

Yes this is genuine. We deal direct with the manufacturer and would be unable to sell non-authentic items as a registered trader.

What is the fat content please?

According to the Barking Heads web site : "Analytical Constituents (%): Crude Protein 10%, Crude Fat 6%, Crude Fibres 1.5%, Crude Ash 2%, Moisture 75%"

how can the product weigh 6kg when it says 2kg on the bag?

You can get bags weighing 2kg, 6kg & 12kg just make sure you select the right weight (this will be reflected in the price maybe its an error in the picture)
