Whats the difference between their shaving oil and this?

I like them both, but I prefer the serum. The oil is, well, oily, whereas the serum is more of a gel texture. But it doesn't go foamy when applied like other shaving gels, so you can see exactly where you are shaving. During the shave I don't notice much difference between the oil and the serum - both are so much more comfortable than shaving foam - the blade glides easily over your face and you barely notice that it's taking your whiskers with it. Both give a wonderfully close shave, but the biggest difference for me is how my face feels afterwards - comfortable and smooth with the oil, but also moisturised and conditioned by the serum. I actually look forward to shaving now - and I even shave on Sundays!

can this product be used with an electric razor?

Yes it can but use very little (two squirts at most) or it will leave an oily deposit on your washbasin.

Would this be suitable for use with a straight razor?
