I love these, they don't require too much work to install but they have to be done right. They definitely help with the slamming of cabinet doors. They work great to keep them still and slowly close.

Incredibly easy to install. Has screw holes on either side of the unit, so it can install on either door orientation. Just make sure it's installed snug in the corner, with the flat metal plate hanging over the edge of your cabinet door. That secures it in place when the door moves. I recommend installing them in the upper corner to be the least distracting. However, some bigger doors will require two (one installed at the top and one on the bottom hinge-side corner) in order to be effective. Even if you have to install one on the bottom, the metal-looking body blends well and it does not look bad. Some units were a bit difficult to adjust with the screw, but I got them all going in the end. The only con is that if you slam your cupboard with too much force (maybe you're very angry and wanted to passive aggressively show the world but you forgot you installed soft close adapters), the doors will bounce against the damper a bit. Just remember that they're there, and show your anger in a different way;) In summary, an effective and economic way to adapt your cupboards to soft-close if your existing hinges are not compatible with soft-close adapters, or you do not want to spend the extra bucks. I will be buying another set to finish off my kitchen.
