Works well, after you get used to it (dumb operator alert!)
I had high hopes for this tool and it does deliver, though you have to get used to how it functions. Here is what happened:I have a kart racing motor for which I must change the oil after every event. It has an oil fill hole that is at an angle, and furthermore the hole is very close to the body of the engine, making it very difficult to get any kind of funnel into the hole. It also is a challenge because the oil fill hole is pretty small so that things like transmission funnels were too large to fit into the hole. This Oil Funnel looked like it would get around all these issues! So I unpacked the unassembled items. They are pretty obvious how to put them together and it is nice that there are 4 different funnels in the package. I assembled one and then noticed that my oil container had an opening on the top that was about 1.25 inches...quite a bit larger than a typical oil jug which measures about 1/2 inch. Nonetheless, this funnel device fit just fine on my big-mouth bottle. The funnel hose fit my engine's oil fill hole nicely and I tipped up the bottle...and instant spill! So here is where the "getting used-to it" comes into play. You have to slowly tip the bottle so that the oil doesn't back up in the funnel entrance, which is pretty obvious when you think about it. I blame a long day at work and some late night work on my engine that I didn't even consider this! Once you get the "feel" of how quickly you can pour the bottle, it works extremely well. This could also be a problem only to my very wide-mouth oil bottle, too, as I've not tested this on a typical oil bottle. So learn from my being a bonehead!A pro-tip...the funnel device arrives collapsed like an accordion. Like an accordion, you can stretch the funnel device so that it is longer and easier to maneuver, or collapse it partially if that is helpful.Would I use this on my CAR to fill with oil? Maybe...though I tend to be really good at pouring oil into my car without a funnel, so I might choose not to use one of these and have to clean it. In my case, I had a challenging oil-fill situation and this tool effectively conquered the challenge.

Did not work:(
These just didnt fit over the top without leaving a large gap for oil to leak out of, just does not work.

Great for our motorhome
Our Class-A gasoline engine motorhome has a fairly small "hood," and the location of the various fluid fill openings and the area available to maneuver in, made adding fluid challenging until we got these Tryfun Multi-Functional Oil Funnels. This design has a number of advantages compared to a standard funnel:Takes less space to store than a standard funnel.Allows for one-handed pouring compared to a standard funnel where you need one hand to hold the funnel and one hand to hold the bottle. The flexible / extendable spout and narrow width provides access to areas that a standard funnel won't work in.The plastic seems to be of decent quality. It is on the thinner side, so I have questions about durability - especially the flex spout, but I'll give the product the benefit of the doubt until I see otherwise. You do have to be careful, especially when starting the pour, not to go too fast and overspill.Depending on the viscosity of the product being poured, there can be some drips down the side of the bottle.

Keeps fluids off of your engine.
These weren't exactly what I thought. They are better. These have a very simple funnel that you simply snap onto the neck of you fluid bottle. Our trucks are old and a few use power steering fluid and needs to be topped off on occasion. These make it very easy to reach over the hoses and wires and get the fluid right into the reservoir.I have an extremely large mouthed oil fill but if you don't these would be great for that as well. The nozzle itself screws onto the blue funnel and can easily be extended, twisted and angled. Then when you are done, it all pops back into a small package.I have one hanging on a hook by my hoist and my son keeps one in his truck.Great little helper.

just flat handy...
Not since the days of shoving the spout through the metal top of the quart oil can have I had a pour spout this handy. And the four pack is just flat a bonus. First one went in the bedside toolbox of the '04 Avalanche; he's always low on something. One on the racks by the wife's car, the other two in the shop. These really have worked well to this point. Hopefully the plastic is durable enough to hold up over time. The placement with these is far superior to the Freiburger method on Engine Masters, aiming for the fill hole. You do have to watch a bit with the relief slot in the top that accommodates larger bottle necks; you will get some leakage if you pour too aggressively.

Pretty cheap and flimsy but it works
This is not bad for what it is designed to do but by no means is it well made or durable. I guess since you are only pouring liquid through it, it will last a while but it could be made a little stronger. It will definitely keep you from spilling liquid all over the place and helps when you are pouring in tight places or with full bottles into little openings. You get four funnels so I guess for the price and shipping and everything that goes into getting it to you it is not a bad price. It is very useful so don’t get me wrong, I am glad I got them and I am glad there are four of them. One for engine oil, one for chain and bar oil, one for transmission oil and one for hydraulic oil. This covers all my pouring needs but this can also be used to pour cooking oil from large gallon bottles to smaller pouring bottles and for so many other things around the house. My bottom line is, get them, it is worth it.
