I do permanent makeup and paramedical tattoos. I purchased a new, smaller machine specifically for the face (Dragonhawk Mast Tour) and tried to purchase a well known “shorty” wireless battery to go with the machine. What arrived had the incorrect plug for my machine, so I had to return it and literally everywhere was out of the version I needed. Scrambling to find a replacement and quickly, I found this battery and ordered it, fully planning on sending it back. I was shocked when I did my first practice set of brows with the new machine and this lovely battery! The low volts are perfection, I needed that 4-5 range my other machine doesn’t have, and I completed a brow in about 10 minutes on silicone, all while testing speeds with the battery. It is a little wider than I had hoped, but it has gone through 8 hours of practice and I have only gone down to half a battery. So the size is worth the capacity! I have done multiple clients in the same day without having to charge and it’s working beautifully. I love the gold color, though I wish they had the same metallic blue as my machine, I would buy another one if they did! The only “con”, if there is one… is just where the charging port is. I wish it was on the back of the battery so I could keep this attached to my machine during charging. But honestly that doesn’t bother me that much. I was worried about the quality because of the price but it’s better than I anticipated! Looking forward to hundreds of hours of use!

I’ve been using this battery for 2 years. It lasts me at least 4 hours straight. I’m about to buy another one to have on hand!

Nice little battery- light weight, charges fast, and lasts a long time.. I get approx 6hrs out of one charge. One design flaw you may want to be aware of: While the machine is running, and you pause the battery, it will auto-shutdown after 20 minutes of being paused. When you turn it back on, the timer resets to 00:00. So, if you need the timer, don’t let it sit idle (paused) for more than 20 min. Ambition support (which are very helpful) told me this is a design feature because “many customers feedback that they would forget to shut down”. I could understand this if it shut down after 120 minutes or so, but 20 minutes seems way too short, especially if you use multiple machines during a long tattoo, or take a 20+ break/lunch. Overall, I like the battery and will continue to use it.

Works great

Broke just short of a year. Replacement was going to take 2 weeks and I tattoo every day, so I couldn’t wait l. I happened to have a shorty from Critical, but 4 hours is not sufficient on a daily basis. Tried to ask for a refund (if even partial) and allow me to just ship the old one to the California address they provided and they never responded. The voltage increase button started malfunctioning one day out of nowhere. Like from my usual 5.6-6 to TWELVE at once. I luckily was not working on a client when this happened. But imagine if I was?! Bought a full size Critical RCA like I should have the first time. Will not cheap out again.

The battery is awesome and is as good as some of my more expensive batteries. It has a timer to keep track of the hours you have tattooed. I have the long one and the shorter one, I normally do 4 to 5 hour sessions and have not run out of power yet. One battery last my whole day. It's well made and lasts a long time i have one that is 2 years old and still going strong.

Great little power supply Pros: -Lightweight (56g/2oz) -decent battery life for its size -Metal outer shell -oled screen (not in color though) -battery indicator - volts measured in 0.1 intervals as opossed to 0.2 or 0.5 as in other supplies -looks premium. Cons: -overpriced for my taste at $60.00 i thnk it should be in the 40.00 to 50.00 range - usage time resets when you power it off. - usbc on the bottom -paint on metal shell scratches easily.
