CastClear® - Lawn Worm Cast Treatment 250ml

I was apprehensive about purchasing this as it's quite expensive and has some mixed reviews but when used as per the instructions (hiding under the label!) it works! The number of worm casts has dropped dramatically to probably 5% or less of what I had even with just the first application. I'm very pleased and wish I'd bought a larger bottle to last through the winter!

Didn't think much of it at first, but have notice my lawn has a lot of worm cast now. So 2 treatments has lasted nearly 4 months.

We have an ornamental lawn, well tended and regularly mown and fed. Worm casts were causing their usual mess so I purchased some Cast Clear in the hope of alleviating this problem. The lawn is 80sqm. I used 0.75 of the solution diluted at the given rate and sprayed as directed. Writing this some two weeks later and after moderate rainfall I would suggest around a 10% decrease in worm activity at best. Not really noticeable unless you spend a lot of time tending your lawn. By way of an alternative I have used ferrous sulphate to increase the soil acidity and this when used appropriately can be effective but needs careful application to avoid sward damage.

Have not seen any improvement as yet, can only hope for less cast mounds next year. The worms here in Norfolk are too hardy, even the frosty mornings are not deterring them.

I live in wet, mild Cumbria and until this product came along my lawn was ruined every autumn by worms.Not now, this stuff is brilliant, I have used it for the past 3 years and it cuts worm casts down by 80%, this year I poured it on in mid September and despite a warm and wet October I can see only half a dozen casts from my window!This stuff isn't cheap but it does work very well.Andy

last year was a misery with all the worm cast, but thus year since using castclear wemhave had one only so I would say yes it does work. hurrah!!!

I almost didn't buy this product due to negative reviews but thought I'd give it a try as nothing else available to control worm casts that affect our lawn badley. I carefully applied it following the instructions to the letter and suffered few worm casts and reapplied after 20 days as per instructions and the results were even better with very few worm casts. accurate application is difficult as there is no visible sign of application so the few worm casts I experienced may be due to a missed area, overall very satisfied but it is expensive.
