Excellent product. It is easy to use and produces fine and coarse crushed ice. I also own an electric ice crusher but i find this manual ice crusher better than the electric one. A couple of downsides- the 4 studs at the base do not grip the surface as advertised. So, you have to apply pressure from the top to eep it in place while crushing the ice. Secondly, the advertisement claims that the one can vary the size of crushed ice crystals. I am not sure how it can be achieved. Over, an excellent kitchen gadget.

Just what I wanted, excellent quality and simple to use. Cleaning the machine is so easy.

Did the job great

Returned immediately. The unit I received was clearly not new. The clear plastic container where the ice goes arrived visibly dirty, which is unacceptable for a food-contact product. On closer inspection, there were also signs of prior use inside the crushing mechanism itself. The plastic near the blades had a noticeable dent/scuff in the exact contact area, consistent with something already having been put through the machine. There were also small bits of debris inside the unit out of the box. Even putting the hygiene issue aside, the overall build quality is poor. The internal plastic components feel cheaply finished, with rough edges and visible imperfections. This is not something you want in a device that is in direct contact with ice you’re consuming. Given that other reviews mention receiving previously used units, this doesn’t appear to be a one-off. Would not recommend. If you’re buying this, check it very carefully on arrival - or better yet, avoid entirely.

It works very well. I notice some of these reviews are complaining about a tendency to rust. I let it dry before putting it away, and this might make a difference. There aren't many good manual ice crushers - I've had several over 20+ years, and this is the best. Good-sized hopper for the cubes. I'm puzzled, though, about the screw-on handle, which will undo if you turn it the other way. The upshot is it only works in right-handed mode, so you might be irritated if you are left handed. - Update 3 years on: I've given it an extra star. Yes, it's still good, still the best manual crusher I every owned (and I've bought several since the 1980s)

Chops ice easily into small lumps However I mistakenly thought I could use it to make snow cones or slushies. It says you can get different sizes if u run it through but only 1 size. Unable to make fine ice so useless for slushies. Good for cocktails only

It is an ice crusher, thought it would create smaller particles, it's ok but the chunks of ice are still rather big.

Ho acquistato il prodotto, ma lo stesso è arrivato nella sua confezione ( come correttamente indicato) che appariva...usurata. Ho comunque aperto l'involucro, ed ho verificato che l'articolo presentava una evidente ammaccatura sulla parte anteriore, ed inoltre, il meccanismo interno era rumoroso. Ho provveduto a fare il reso, scrivendo anche al venditore l'accaduto. Nel giro di pochi minuti ho avuto risposta. Il venditore non solo si è scusato, senza nemmeno chiedere "prove" del danno, ma si è anche offerto di rimandare immediatamente l'oggetto, che ho ricevuto questa mattina stessa, questa volta anche con imballo esterno. Il tritaghiaccio è ben fatto, il materiale è solido, e la parte mobile ruota senza necessità di mettere troppa forza; il ghiaccio viene tritato perfettamente per i cocktail, scopo per il quale lo ho acquistato. abbastanza compatto, il costo è elevato, ma come ho spiegato, ripagato sia dalla qualità che dal servizio post vendita. Non me lo spettavo proprio. Complimenti!
