And that is where Luke, her best friend, comes in.This debut played out like a hallmark Christmas movie in my mind. I mean, a Christmas Tree Farm? Perfect. A bunch of fun characters? Check. A cinnamon roll of a hero, who could also bring the steam? Double check. I adored Luca. I didn’t even need his POV to love him. I could feel how sweet, caring, attentive and sexy he was via Stella. I mean the way he ‘argues’.... Swoon. I rooted for these best friends, and loved the tension that built into some nice steam in this slowburn.There were some tiny lulls for me, more so in the beginning, but overall it warmed my heart and made me smile. I definitely look forward to more from this author and her Lovelight Farm characters!

A familiar comfort.”This is officially my favorite holiday read of all time. Yep. I said it. I had not heard anything about Lovelight Farms by @authorbkborison nor did I know anyone that had read it. I just happened to randomly stumble upon it on Amazon.I finished the last page last night and immediately recorded a series of Instagram stories telling everyone that they HAD TO READ THIS BOOK IMMEDIATELY because I simply could not wait until today to share my thoughts, ha! And then I proceeded to encounter a painful book hangover because what could I possibly read next? Sobbbbb.This book has everything. A cozy, Hallmark-esque Christmas tree farm in a small town setting- ✅ . A lovable supporting cast of larger than life characters- ✅. Two endearing and captivating main characters-✅. Sweat inducing steam- ✅✅✅. Friends to lovers / fake dating tropes? ✅. Humor? ✅.I dare you not to fall in love with Luka + Stella. They are so good together. Respectful and loving and kind and SWOONWORTHINGLY hot. Yes I made that word up and I don't care. I love these two humans and I refuse to admit they aren't real.I can't wait for the rest of the series!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I read 30+ holiday romances, each pubbed in 2021, and 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐅𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐒 was the best of the best! I was further thrilled to discover that this is B.K. Borison's debut novel!This boom is EVERYTHING that Friends-to-Lovers should be! The secret attraction, the sweet moments, the slowly simmering sexual tension. And what this story really succeeds at is, in my opinion, the most important part of the Friends-to-Lovers trope: the glimpses of shared history and meaningful friendship.𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐅𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐒 perfectly executes peppering both meaningful and hilarious snippets of the shared past between Stella and Luca. You laugh and sigh and swoon with each story. We don't get a dump of past info, nor does the author just state they are best friends and lean on that. It's the perfect amount to get a glimpse into why these two are destined to be together!Stella is a great female lead. She is smart, loyal, funny, sweet, hard working, and delightful. I loved her so much! And Luca is the epically swoony male lead you need in your life. He's protective and loving and so hot.The side characters in 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐅𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐒 are DIVINE. I need their love stories next, especially a certain grumpy tree farmer.And the steamy scenes are freaking hot! Melt-yo-kindle heat!!If you only read one holiday romance this year it should absolutely be 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐅𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐒!

So, I recommend getting this book by ANY means possible (seriously any means) and enjoying it IMMEDIATELY!!!Stella Bloom's dream of owning a Christmas tree farm was supposed to be something dreams are made of - romantic and fun, "a magical, winter fairyland." Yet it has quickly become more a thing of nightmares in the past year. Stella is up to her eyeballs in debt, and it's one problem after another. Not to mention an entire pasture of dead trees "that look like something out of a Tim Burton film." I'm getting Nightmare before Christmas vibes!Fear not - she has a solution to all her troubles!All she has to do is charm the heck out of Evelyn St. James, a social media influencer, and win her contest. If she accomplishes this, she will gain more social media presence and not to mention a $100,000 cash prize. The problem is Stella may have lied on the application and said she owned the farm with her boyfriend to make it more romantic - only there is no boyfriend.Que Luka Peter, a tall, dreamy Italian with adorable freckles and caramel eyes. Oh, and Stella's best friend. Luka is a fun, easy-going guy with just the perfect amount of sarcasm. He will melt your heart with gentle touches of affection and slow dancing in the kitchen. (I'll just be swooning over here 🥰)Stella and Luka are beyond entrancing together. You will fall in love with these two in the first couple of pages. Their meet-cute is the thing of movies (or books in this case) where an instant friendship is formed. It's the type of friendship everyone dreams of having, and Stella has it. She can't risk losing Luka as her best friend to fake date him and save her farm. Stella has learned through life experiences not to depend on anyone; they'll just leave. But when it comes to Luka, he has been constant for over a decade, and she doesn't want to picture her life without him. Will the "fake dating" change it all???This entire story is sugar and spice!!! Oh, so cozy with just the right amount of hallmark feels. And a few spicy scenes that will leave your cheeks a little rosy. Who know casual analysis could be so sexy #givemeallthefeelsLuka and Stella aren't the only ones you fall in love with either. Beckett, the farmhand, and Layla, the baker at Stella's farm, quickly become secondary solid characters that I immensely enjoyed. Not mention the entire community and how they come together to support Stella. "Don't you know yet, Stella? This is your home. "Chi si volta, e chi sira, sempre a casa va finire... Where ever you go, you will always end up at home." "IF you cant tell … I have nothing but LOVE for this book. I have a complete book hangover, and currently, I am experiencing major Luka withdrawals.
