Saiyin Sound Bar with Subwoofer, Home Theater Surround System for TV PC

Works great for a simple make shift home theater. I have connected this to my projector to have a little movie theater at home. It connects quickly with bluetooth which is very helpful when dealing with a projector. Fewer wires are always a plus. It can get very loud if you want it to be, and the bass does add a bit more to the quality of it too. It has a small light bar on the front of it to indicate if it is connected or not, but it is not enough to be distracting when the room is darkened for the screen. Don't expect super digital 3d surround sound from this. It's a good price for something to turn up the sound for a movie or music. Great for a bedroom, garage, man-cave, camper.

If you want to improve your sound system and are on a small budget I would 100% recommend this one. It's sound quality is amazing (especially for the price) and it was super easy to set up. I love that I can control it from my fire tv remote so I only need one remote for most things. While some things are obvious how they made it cheeperk (like there remote is used on multiple systems so there is a button on this models remote that does nothing) but I'm actually happy about it because it really is not a big deal. The subwoofer is amazing and after using it for a little while I can say it's much better than any stand alone soundbar without one. Could the sound be a little better.... Probably but I doubt you will find one even near this budget. The sounds are super clear, and they did a good job designing it to cast the sound throughout the room; it sounds like surround sound. Overall, super impressed, and I'm super happy with how well it works and sounds 1000 times better than the built in tv speakers and would recommend it to pretty much anyone.

This soundbar has such good quality. I'm just your average person, not an audiophile, who was looking to enhance the basic sound of my tv. I just wanted to make it louder and having decent bass was important cus I like to bump the music when cleaning. This worked PERFECTLY. I live in an apartment and the bass hits so hard sometimes that at night I tend to turn the subwoofer down so my neighbor won't hate me. I absolutely love this sound bar though and I could never go back to basic TV speakers after hearing how good it CAN sound with such a fairly priced enhancement.

Just hooked this up. Some notes I used optical, when it 1st powered up. A horrible motor boating noise. Rectified by going into the tv sound setting changing from Dolby digital to PCM. The power cable for this is pretty short as are all the cables and also they are flimsy. The cable for the subwoofer is hardwired on the speaker end so no changing that. Does not appear to be a standard audio connector such as 3,5mm or RCA. You will need a pair of aaa batteries for the remote. No Eq controls other than the preset movie, music and news. Power control is independent of the tv. You will have to manually turn on and off after use. For my application a small 40" in a small bedroom its suitable speaker placed in front of the tv at tv level The speakers fire upward slightly tilted. Sound is certainly better than the tv itself, which is not unexpected. The sound on most tvs is not great. They just don't have the room for decent built in speakers and most only push out 10 watts a channel. Trust me you are not going to be blasting this

I’m pleasantly surprised by this soundbar. I’m using it with the projector in my bedroom. I was using my JBL speaker on Bluetooth and I wanted something with a little more sound quality, but I didn’t want to spend $100’s on something I only use in bed. So, I figured I would give it a try based on the reviews and I’m really glad I did. I’m amazed at how loud and how clean the sound quality is from this soundbar. The subwoofer provides deep bass when necessary, especially when it’s set on movie mode, and can also be minimized with higher treble on the news mode. Overall I’m absolutely satisfied with this purchase and would recommend to friends.

It has good rage. You can plug your device up in a different room and it will still pick up the Bluetooth. Sound quality is good

I bought this item based on the glowing reviews versus low price, some people saying you'd have to spend 5 times as much to get better sound quality. Just so you know, I already own the 24" SaiYin soundbar w/o sub that I use as my computer speaker, so I know what to expect in terms of tonality. I will say that they seem to bias their sound towards speech, so if you only listen to tv news or podcasts or audiobooks, this brand is IDEAL, voices sound PERFECT, sharp and crystal clear. But that's NOT what you want for music. You want the opposite, enhanced bass and treble, with reduced 1kHz midrange. I plugged everything in and waited for the BlueTooth to connect, and when the music started playing I was immediately disappointed. Boxy harsh sound with no highs, actually inferior to a cheap portable boombox from the 80s. The "sub" sounded terrible at EVERY setting, boxy sounding mid-bass. I turned it all the way down to try to get proper sound balance, so why even have a sub. The longer I listened the more I hated it, even with different music sources. Lack of highs, lack of lows. Even the 3 eq buttons on the remote couldn't save it, they barely made any difference. It took me less than 10 minutes to decide to box it back up. For people who say that this sounds good, you must never have heard any audio system made of separate components and separate speakers. Maybe they're confusing loud with good, it does get extremely loud. But here's the kicker: not long ago I bought the $20 BolaButty 8" portable BT speaker from Amazon, so I did a direct comparison and it kicked the SaiYin's ass! Better highs, better overall sound balance, enjoyable, obviously not much deep bass but the Saiyin's bass was intolerable. The other sound bar I own from Amazon I bought a 3 years ago, a 26" bar and large sub that has good sound balance for music, is BESTISAN. Amazon still sells that brand, although the particular model I bought is discontinued. Like I said, all speakers within a brand are going to have the same tonality, the only difference being whether it has a sub or not. (Never buy a soundbar with a tiny sub; you'll run into the midbass problem I did. Small drivers just can't produce low bass). So, I would trust a BESTISAN bar + big sub if I wanted to replace the SaiYin bar + small sub in order to get that deeper subwoofer bass, but I may just stick with my BolaButty. I'm very very surprised at that outcome.

This is a good sound system that really adds to the value of home entertainment. I'd entirely recommend them, and the reason for my lower stars has nothing to do with how they work once they work well. There are two primary reasons for the two stars off. 1. Set up was really stressful. I had an issue where, when playing certain movies, I'd get a lot of additional feedback from the soundbar. And I don't mean a little static. I mean a loud persistent horn indicative of a haunting. This is a common enough problem, they address it in the setup instructions, but don't give very good instructions on how to fix it. Fortunately, google saved me in that regard and I was able to properly switch up my settings to work with the soundbar. But it was annoying and I'm not looking forward to having to do it again when I get a new TV. For the record, it does work fine once you adjust your settings appropriately. 2. You do know this when you buy it, but there's only one base speaker, which makes it difficult for me to know which side of the TV to put it on. This problem is quite minor compared to the first, but it was just enough to move my review from 3.5 stars to 3. That all said, I do like this item and it is worth it for the price.
