Ye I would suggest large. I wear mine when on bike and they do the job fine.

Does the size take into account the trousers underneath? What I am asking is that if I am usually an S, would I need to order an M?

Hi Aitor.I, as a precaution, ordered the next size up i.e. i'm a medium and i ordered a pair of large and this seems to have worked out fine for me as i do a lot of walking and i just didn't want any restrictions or tightness. There is an elasticated waistband so you may be ok ordering your regular size.I wear tracksuit bottoms (cotton not fleece) underneath. I hope that this is of use to you. All the best.
