These are perfect for securing my fishing reels to the roof rack of my SUV. Small enough to not dangle on the vehicle roof and rubber coated to prevent any chafing while subjected to 75 mph speeds. Easy to set the combinations and open once they are set. While the roof rack locks will keep the rods from being stolen, these locks keep somebody from making off with the reels while they are mounted on the rods.

Feels sturdy and rugged, with a nice heft. Texture is matte but doesn't accumulate much. Lock number dials don't turn too easily, which is reasonable to give better control, but putting in the combination is easier as a two-hand operation. Used for a few months to lock a driveway gate, exposed to outdoor elements, and has maintained a similar appearance and usability.

Just enough to deter a thief of opportunity. Easy to use with its fairly standard four digit combination. The soft rubber coating will protect your bike's finish. The length is just enouth to lock your bike to a pole, but not a thick pole like a telephone pole. It does fit into a back jersey pocket, but barely.

It's just a thin cable covered in silicone, but it does act as a sufficient deterrent. I would not use this in a high theft area or overnight. For a quick run into the store, or to keep the kids bike safe during school, it's a great lock.

The lock dials are large and easy-to-use with a nice crisp-click feel. Silicone is very soft and won't scratch your bike and/or rack. Also, if you happen to use this item in blue color with your RockyMounts bike racks, the lock looks like it's a RockyMounts factory item with the same blue-color tone. Perfect as a quick visual deterrent for added security. Highly recommend it.

Stout, easy to use, cable is a bit stretchy (maybe 1/16”), which is helpful.

I received my bike lock and the code that was on doesn't open the lock. I try a couple of code but nothing. Does someone know the default code? If not I will have to return it. Thank you
