Lascal KiddyGuard Avant and Accent Bannister Installation Kit for locking strip -3 pieces - (White Color)

Excellent stair gate. Fairly easy to install (only complicated by the need to put in a wooden baton as our newel post is curved). My 5 year old can operate it although my 3 year old can't yet. It's solid but discrete and ideal for our narrow landing at the top of the stairs. We had to install it closer to the top of the stairs than recommended (recommended is15cm, I think, and ours is no more than 5cm from the top step) but my very active 10 month old has not (yet) attempted to crawl under the stair gate and I don't think he will be able to.

Completely useless as vital parts were missing; I wouldn't have known if I hadn't bought the same kit from somewhere else. Then again both purchases were waste of money. These kits only fits for a specific limited configuration; you need a minimum height of your railing or stair post, which must also have very small and squared stair posts or bars. They cannot be round. Nothing of this is stated in the product information, on the contrary there are illustrations showing them mounted on both round bars and much larger stair posts. Not sure if this product even is safe and approved by EU.

Awful quality (I wonder whether it is even from a genuine product manufacturer it is that bad). My husband who is a builder struggled to fit this and even with a laser level, it just never "looked" or operated correctly. Need two hands to operate (hmmm not helpful with baby in toe). And my husband who I reiterate is a builder but of slim build, lent against it when closed and it gave way. Straight in the bin as I wouldn't even want to resell as would always feel guilty! A waste of a lot of money!!!

Wir haben eine Maisonette-Wohnung und für die Treppe unten und oben ein Treppenschutzgitter gesucht, daß unser kleiner Krümel nicht hoch- krabbeltbzw. runterfallen kann. Daher folgende Anforderungen: - Treppe im offenen Zustand frei begehbar - Möglichst keine Türe, die in den Raum steht Übriggeblieben ist nach Recherche das Rollo von Lascal und wir haben beide Varianten, 1m (Accent) und 1,20m (Avant) gekauft. Die Artikel sind wie bei Amazon üblich flott gekommen, die Verpackung ist klein und handlich. Der Aufbau bei beiden war relativ einfach (das schwierigste war korrekte Löcher in die Rigipswand zu bohren). Positiv: - Beide erfüllen Ihren Zweck zur Gänze (es wurde nicht groß dran gerüttelt, sondern unser Kleiner hat beide von Anfang an akzeptiert) - Das Schließen mit einer Hand funktioniert, auch mit Kind im Arm (bei der 1,20m Version leichter als bei der 1m Version) sowohl bei mir als auch bei meiner Verlobten - Das Öffnen funktioniert bei beiden gut (die negativen Bewertungen bzgl. der zu kurzen Zeit bei dem 1,20m Modell kann ich nicht nachvollziehen); das Öffnen, sowie das Schließen geht bei der 1,20m Version leichter und wesentlich leiser von statten Leichtes Manko: - Wie bereits in anderen Rezensionen angemerkt könnte die Plastikleiste, in die das Rollo eingehängt wird, etwas stabiler sein, ist jedoch für den Alltags- gebrauch ausreichend - Ich habe größere Dübel verwendet, da mir die mitgelieferten nicht ausreichend schienen Fazit: - Das Geld ist oben wie unten gut investiert und wir sind vollauf zufrieden, unser Sohn freut sich wie ein Schnitzel, wenn er die Treppe hochklettern darf (und barrierefrei kann) - Wir können das System trotz der hohen Kosten empfehlen, würden uns jedoch 2x für die 1,20m Variante entscheiden Rohrhalterungen Lascal 12561 - Oben habe ich die 1,20m Version mit den drei Rohrhalterungen von Lascal ver- wendet, die vorzüglich halten (einziges Manko: Da zwischen Geländer und Boden ein kleiner Spalt ist, war es aufgrund der Konstruktion der Rohrhalterungen nicht möglich das Rollo so anzubringen,das gar kein Spalt zwischen Boden und der ersten Treppenstufe bleibt -> Bisher gab es jedoch damit keine Probleme)

Al verlo puesto piensas que no va a poder aguantar el peso de un niño, pero nada más lejos de la realidad, se han colgado tres niños y aguantó perfectamente. Es difícil ponerlo de manera que quede completamente tenso, sin arrugas, aunque bloquea igual. Indudablemente deja un paso mayor cuando está abierto, y en una escalera estrecha se nota.

Item shipped quickly and arrived without issue. The seller emailed me afterwards to ensure I had no problems. The item itself works as expected and explained. Like those below, my banister is too large, and I only ended up using one of the three brackets. I fell into this trap because I was unable to properly picture in my mind how the whole setup would work. In the end, I had to drill holes in the top and bottom of my banister and secure the "latch" piece of the baby gate with screws. But there were no problems whatsoever with the seller or delivery of the product!
