Vibram Fitness KSO Evo, Women's KSO Evo-w

My first five fingers and they are everything I hoped for. I measured my feet as per a chart I found on a vibram website and ordered these as the price war better. They look small but fitted snugly and comfortable to wear all day. I went for my first run (30 mins) and loved how I felt the ground under my feet but still felt comfortable on a variety of terrain. I love these shoes so much!!

Minimalist shoes, comfortable, resistant and with an excellent fit. I mainly use them for sports and long walks! The vibram sole is always a guarantee!

comfortable wearing around the house or at the gym although are a bit snug, however it does recommend to go up half a size but they did not have my size available so I expected this. wouldn't use them running outside on rough terrain as they don't offer much protection to the souls of your feet.

I have blisters on my feet everytime I use them, I love the feel of the lightness but I am afraid the comfort is unreal. I cannot wear them anymore, to be honest I feel like these need to have different fabrics to make them comfortable.

I had a bit of a false start getting these - I ordered what was listed as a UK 5.5 but I was sent an EU 34 which is actually a UK size 3.5-4 so too small! :o( However, the return was relatively easy and free and I ordered another, bigger pair. I suspected after this that the sizes given were in fact US not UK sizes so I plumped for what was listed as a 7.5-8. Glad to say, these fit my 5.5 size feet perfectly. So be warned, getting the right size can be a bit of a minefield (as a few other reviews have noted). Googling a shoe size conversion chart really helped! Now to the shoes. I have been looking for the right pair of thin-soled, lightweight running shoes for ages. I am a neutral forefoot runner and I find that most running shoes really make my mid-foot ache on a run, probably because most are designed for heel-strikers and are full of tech like torsion bars and sprung heels. The only pair of trainers I have (and I’ve tried loads which my bank balance didn’t thank me for and I’ve even been to a running shop to have a gait analysis/‘professional’ opinion which really didn’t help!) that don’t hurt my feet are a pair of speedwork/racing trainers but they’re now discontinued and very worn out. I’d seen Vibram Fivefingers around but didn’t immediately buy as they look funny (my friend calls them ‘monkey feet’!) and they have very mixed reviews generally - people either love them or hate them, like Marmite. Honestly, I wish I’d got a pair sooner. They’re very comfortable. They take a while to put on (so you won’t be chucking them on to put the bins out!) but they’re the lightest shoe ever, flexible, breathable and the grip is excellent. I haven’t run great distances in them (recovering from injury) but on a 5-6k I’ve had no problems, in fact my runs have improved and I’ve got a bit faster. FYI I’m a pavement runner so I can’t comment on rougher terrain. I do find they soak up some surface water if it’s been raining but that’s to be expected of a shoe with such a thin sole/sock construction. I have been using them with the Vibram Injijii socks which I would recommend. I’ve certainly not had any blisters like some reviews report. So in short, great but really research your size before buying and get the socks too. I’ve given four stars instead of five due to misleading sizes given otherwise I really love them, wish I’d taken the plunge and got them ages ago!

These are my second pair and I thought they would fit in the same way as the Bikila ones that I'd had, but they are certainly a little closer fitting. Luckily for me they are just fine and it feels like I'm virtually wearing nothing on my feet, but I can imagine shoe sizes may catch people out. I am a standard size 6 (39) so had no issues as I know they are supposed to be close fitting. A reviewer on Vibrams has suggested that if you are new to them you should buy two sizes and return whichever don't fit - and that does sound like a good idea, although I didn't need to. I wore them around the house to check and them took them out on a "test drive" and they are as wonderful as I expected. They have even less sole on them and are just a joy to run in. The box does now come with instructions on how to get used to your Vibrams, if these are a first pair and I'd recommend following the details as it will save lots of aches in the long term.

Love them love them love them. I should have bought the size I normally am (39) but I read reviews that said they came up small so I bought 40's. They are fine for me but my actual size would have fitted better. When I bought my mainstream running shoes (that hurt my knee) I was told your feet swell when you run anyway so you need a bigger size. I feel a bit self conscious in them but not much more than I normally do wobbling around the gym next to the skinny fit people. No one noticed them anyway. They are tricky to get on the first couple of times but you get used to it. I've not run any distance in them yet as I am getting used to them. I'm only doing 30 seconds HIIT on the treadmill. 30 seconds in normal shoes hurt my knee, 30 seconds in Vibram FF do not hurt my knee. Learning to use them properly will take time but that is worth it if I can run again, it hurt too much in normal shoes. And they made a friend scream :-)

This is my second purchase and my wifes feet is 6 but i orederd 7 size but still it was a bit tight i didn't want to send it back bcos she liked the feel of walking in it and first day she wore it for whole day by walking on cliffs and beach she love it. Only size chart has to be corrcetly done by the company so ppl can select proper and buy it.

I love these sneakers! They are my second pair of Vibrams! I love to wear them walking and bike riding. When I wore my regular sneakers on the elliptical my left foot would go numb. These do not cause any numbness!
