Lonely is Popular
Lemon-lime vocals as big and bold as the Gulf of Mexico with instrumentals equally as sparkling and syncopated, Los Lonely Boys alternately rock and serenade us in this Greatest Hits album. Their sound is both sensualistic and vibrant with a palpability that reaches into your heart and takes hold. Latin seasonings on this ‘Texas tornado’ of a group give it a worldly appeal of the Americas as opposed to a singular American nationalism. Quintessentially American (both Spanish and English) as it were, Los Lonely Boys delivers music that is more popular than lonely and more maturely developed than boyish.

I was not that familiar with the Los Lonely Boys, other than their hit single "Heaven". Wow! I am so glad I purchased this CD!This one special group of talented men! From the amazing guitar riffs and lively beats, it is sure to please for anything from a long car trip, to the best outdoor party! Glad I purchased and my husband loved the music as well.

loudness wars
lots of songs for the money, good choice of material. But and this is a big but,the recording is terrible, compressed to the point of no dynamic range, all subtlety is lost and the music is lifeless and only good for parties and background music, forget playing it on good headphones, your ears will tire quickly. unfortuneate

Love Those LONELY BOYS!
I had only heard one song from Los Lonely Boys, and I was hooked! This has "Heaven," and an acoustic version of "Heaven" too. My favorites are "Velvet Sky," "Roses," and "My Way." Their sound has a bit of a country rock flavor tinged with blues, and as Los Lonely Boys call it, a "Texican" feel. Great vocals in harmony, and lots of funky guitar riffs!Fab Buy at $6.99! Try it, You'll Like It!
