Can this be used in a room vapouriser container eg floating on the top of water

Can you use this oil in a reed diffuser?

I cannot say definitely but think the oil has to be used with a wick which has be ignited and then blown out. The fragrance is great really Christmassy!

Does it smell anything like apple spice?

I was quite disappointed with this fragrance, does not smell of Apple Spice - sorry.

It's beginning to smell a lot like Christmas...

Yep, smells like Christmas to me. For the record, this mixture contains cinnamaldehyde (from cinnamon), eugenol (from bay or nutmeg), and d-limonene (citrus fruits). I don't know why I associate those smells with Christmas, but my kids do too. It's pricey, considering it's mostly alcohol, but a little goes a long way.
