Some kinds of mint are toxic to cats. What kind of mint is used in this toy?

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to reach out. The mint is dried mint leaves. Mint can be toxic if the mint leaves are eaten. This toy should not be injected, it is intended for soft chewing. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Outward Hound Customer Service

My cat chews her toys, then eats them and throws them up. Is this toy something that my cat can chew through?

I guess it mostly depends on your cats ability to chew through strong and durable products such as this. The netting around the pretzel is extremely durable but has to have some give in the product to allow the flossing function to work so its safe for your cat. I believe you will need to monitor the condition of the pretzel after you notice some wear and tear. Then get replacements before your cat can start to eat it.

Can you put your own brand catnip into the toy? Is there a zipper or pouch to put your own in?

Hi. Thank you for taking the time to reach out. This item cannot have the Catnip Replaced. Please let us know if you have any other questions Outward Hound Customer Service
