LINKBOOK for iPad Mini | WiFi Signal Enhancing Folio | Denim Black

It is a little stiff to hold in your hands and it has a hard time staying in the upright position on a desk. I Have to use one hand to make sure it doesn't slip out. Very good reception, but I wish it was more ergonomic.

I think it really does help improve wifi reception. I would have ranked it higher, but it has not proved durable. The plastic front that holds the ipad in place no longer stays connected (I think the tab that snaps it into place must have broken).

Took one star off for the cost. $50 for a case is a bit on the high end.The case is pretty good quality; it has a plastic shield that covers the bottom of the mini's bezel and helps keep it seated. It has mini-grilles so sound can get out.Although signal strength seemed to improve by only a few percent here and there, the telling is in the download speeds; with a crappy CLEAR wifi puck I was getting crappy speeds even from a few feet away because of interference from neighbors, but with this case on it is much better; I see improvements of at least 20% when downloading from the App Store or iTunes.A few online multiplayer games showed much better latency (Iron Force is one) with the case on.Definitely a must when traveling. I still sometimes switch back to my Joy SmartSuit Mini at home, as I had gotten used to its finish but overall the LINKBOOK stays on when I'm out and about. Great when you're visiting someplace that has an iffy access point.

It gets two stars because it is actually a case... Thats where it stops. The box clearly says 2X better signal. It is no where near that with a Dual Band Linksys router and iPad Mini Retina. The box also says to not remove the plastic thing that covers the home button area "often" as it might break. Hmmm... The case extends well past the bottom of the iPad as well. I'll upload some photos to show it with an actual iPad in it. It makes it quite cumbersome to hold. Overall it feels clumsy and cheap. Returned.

I purchased this in April and it basically crapped out on me by July. It worked OK. But my ipad did not fit properly and it kept falling out. I don't know what happened. I never dropped it. I do transport my ipad to and from work but that shouldn't make a difference. I went back to using my old case because at least it was protected.

It did boost my wifi coverage. Case is ok but it is hard to plug in or remove my lightening charger.

Not sure if this enhances the signal. Seems to improve it some. However my Ipad Mini does not fit well in it. The top of the Ipad does not really sit down against the case and will fall out if you hold it upside down. In less than a week of use the bottom plate that holds the bottom of the Ipad fell off. You can snap it back in but because the Ipad does not fit will it just fall off again. I suppose I can super glue it but should I have to? As depicted in the pictures not much holding it. I wouuld hate to drop the Ipad out of it and bust the screen. I will go back to my old case. At least I know my Ipad will not fall out.

This case really does what it promises. Being an engineer i was skeptical is it would really extend the range of the Wi-Fi. The only negative is that the elastic band used to close the book and keep it closed does not close the camera lense at the back properly, but that is a minor inconvenience.
