Laguiole Jean Dubost 97618 Salad Cutlery

These are very nice, unique looking, good quality salad servers. However, mine have some small 'scuff' marks (mainly on the handles), which make them look already used despite them being brand new, which is disappointing. Almost certainly it's because the 'rustic' looking wooden box they come in is actually quite rough inside and is not lined, unlike most presentation boxes that good cutlery usually comes in. Therefore, the salad servers rattling around in the box against the rough wood almost certainly has scuffed them. If it weren't for that I'd give them 5 stars but have to knock a star off for the inadequate and poorly thought out packaging they are in.

Bought as a present for Tin Anniversary (10th) looks classy as a gift.

Genuine Laguiole Jean Dubost spoons that are Made in FranceThe spoons are very well made though they do have a few lightmarks on them. This seems to be the way that all the entry level Laguiole Jean Dubost items are made.Despite this, it's still nice to have a genuine French made Laguiole product, especially now that there are so many Chinese copies available.

Seem really good quality for the price and look good too.

Given as a present to my son and his girlfriend but they looked really good to me.
