Easier than preparing from scratch and the cheese blend makes it easier for cleaning the fondue dish afterwards. Not so much as a welded mass that has to be scrubbed out of the fondue dish

Last had one of these about 20 years ago and then the supermarket stopped selling them. Purely by chance a tv series mentioned them and I thought of Amazon. And here they were. They have not changed in 20 years and still taste as good with a couple of slices of ham chopped up, a French stick and 2 bulbs worth of garlic. We got 4 this time but that will definitely not be the last now we know where they are hiding.

Love these little packages of oozy goodness! Decent portion for 2 if you're having full Savoyard spread, probably would leave you wanting if you're just having bread though. We've taken to pimping this slightly with some garlic rubbed on the pot as it warms before adding the cheese, and then a glug of white wine to boost it slightly. Not necessary, but it's fun!
