llenyes Valleys – Charcoal for BBQ, 3 kg

I was looking for real wood charcoal that was big enough not to fall away through the grid in my charcoal BBQ. I took a stab at buying this lump wood charcoal and it is one of those products that you think is so great you wonder what you would do if you can't find it anymore.Sounds silly to say about charcoal but honestly it is fantastic. For one thing I swear I can't burn anything on it!?! Not sure if this is down to the type of wood or what but I walk away and I don't come back to a fire and black food.I have done homemade burgers (buns too!) and sausages and corn on the cob. Everything tasted delicious and people couldn't get enough. I used the chimney type fire starter and they all light easily and evenly. I don't squirt fluid on them!The pieces of charcoal are big and you can actually see the parts of a tree. I love it so much that yesterday when we had a torrential downpour I ran into the garage to get my bags on high ground in case water ran under the door - I was soaked! I am female and live in the UK if that matters for your trust in my review. Happy barbecueing!!

Awful quality charcoal . Mainly tiny , broken , shard pieces. Also, strangely , lots of sparks (make sure you wear old clothing) which I've never seen charcoal do on this scale . Probably because of the quality .

Quality was awful, small pieces and mainly broken bits.

Lasted a while when burning but took a while to get started.

This was terrible. did not light at all after 3-4 attempts we gave up and put it in the bin. avoid this brand

Doesn't take to the heat.
