CM2026 Home All in One Professional Weather Station.

I bought a La Crosse weather station 3 years ago which I returned having been disappointed by the constant loss of connection between the console and sensors and also the ugly lengths of wire linking the sensors. I have ventured back on the market with some trepidation. The ClimeMet CM2026 is entirely different. It arrived within 3 days of ordering, extremely well packaged and protected and with the sensor units already mounted on the stainless steel tubing. No wires showing just neat clean lines. As soon as the batteries were in the console it connected to the sensors immediately. It took a couple of hours to find the signal from the Frankfurt atomic clock and then everything was running perfectly. Because it suited me, the sensors are on a straight line of site approximately 25m from the console so I cannot comment on its ability to deal with greater distances or obstructions. The manual is informative, straightforward and simple to use. It is written very clearly and by someone who's first language is English - rather than badly translated Chinese! The part of the installation that took the most time was erecting a suitable pole to mount the sensor assembly on. The manual gives helpful advice and it is well worth taking a little time to get both the location and support material right. I ended up using a sturdy steel pole from a redundant basket ball set, laterally braced at half its height. Thoughtfully included with the CM2026 are plastic ties and 2 large pipe clips. Overall I can find no faults or niggles with this product, I have only praise. Of course it has only been in use for a week and time will be the ultimate judge.

Very pleased with my purchase. The set up and instructions are very easy to follow. The functions are extensive and easily to read and the instruction manual is user friendly. I was disappointed that the set did not include a barometer but have now got one separately. You will need to attach your set to a pole, presumably a metal one so you would need to source this yourself. Recommend this equipment. PS. The screw holding the wind cups came off after about 6 weeks (presumably I didn't tighten if sufficiently). I was very pleased that ClimeMet who are the manufacturers sent me the wind cups and screw free of charge, arriving the next day. They also answered a technical questions over the phone. Great little weather station. Set up was a breeze. Be sure to put the screw in the wind cups to hold them on the stem. The screw needs to go in against the flat part of the stem. It also helps to mark with a magic marker an N under the N on the plastic wind vein housing. That makes it easier to see when you set it up. Directions were clear for the basic set up. The indoor monitor needs an unobstructed "view" of the outside components in my case. It only took a few minutes to connect and register once I figured this out. It's been working fine for the week I've had it. There is no barometer function with this unit but I didn't miss it. Great unit, fair price, easy setup and use. Can modify between inches and mm for rain, mph and km for wind speed and fahrenheit and celsius for temperature.

Currently waiting for a replacement. The weather station worked perfectly for 10 weeks. Then the display of the outdoor data went blank. Got the ladder out, checked the batteries (Duracell) - down to 1.43 volts. Replaced them. Waited a day for the display to reappear. It didn't. Checked the batteries in the display unit - also run down. Replaced them and all was working again (though the memory had cleared as expected). A couple of days later the external display went blank again. From then on the display came and went at random intervals. After another couple of weeks I checked the batteries again - and replaced them again. That didn't help, on top of which the external temperature reading began to read 7 degrees C too high. After several emails with the suppler who tried to palm me off with some nonsense about a loose screw or dirt in the rain gauge, I persuaded him to accept a return/replacement, but I don't really expect any joy. Oh - and before returning the stuff I removed the batteries, which were depleted yet again. Even if the device wasn't faulty, I wouldn't want to be climbing ladders on a regular basis throughout the winter. On a different note - some reviewers have said it is a comprehensive weather station. It isn't - it has NO barometric functions at all. Also - why does it look exactly like the ChiliTec Ctw-600 at nearly half the price?

Has worked well for quite some time now. Easy to install and manage. I recommend this product.

arrived well in time scale easy to set up and understand only problem is main unit keeps losing radio signal so all data is lost I have tried different places to put it but same problem where ever I put it so will keep moving it as other units I have had worked but ok for cheap product

This item was delivered within 36 hours of order placement. The packaging was secure and informative. The product documentation for set up and operation was excellent. The product itself is manufactured to a very high standard and is very thoughtfully designed for good appearance and actual operation. This weather station provides a wide range of information in a clear format. I'm extremely pleased with my choice from quite a collection of weather station options. Its not the cheapest but provides good value for money.

Whilst the actual instruction booklet appears very glossy it lacks information to permit the instrument to be completely set up correctly. Two weeks since I purchased it, I am still trying to set up the correct time. In hindsight i wish I had not purchased this model. Thank you
