This is the 3rd DK travel guide I've bought. Not only are they a fantastic aide when travelling but they are a great reminder of where you've been. A really attractive and useful book with a clear layout and lots of pictures for easy reference. It is weightier than a pocket guide but makes up for it with the detail covered

A Good Travel Guide
It was up to the usual standard of the DK Eyewitness Travel Guides. It was easy to use and there was usfficient information to help make decisions on what to see in limited time, without overloading on the details. It was a usefull book to take with you as you wandered around. Not too bulky or heavy.

Found this really useful whilst travelling around croatia
Found this really useful whilst travelling around croatia. The pictures and descriptions are concise but give enough detail to enable the reader to get a general impression about the location and I found it useful to have a bit of an insight in I what each place has to offer when I was devising the itinerary of the holiday.My only criticism is that in some sections the book focuses too much on one type of attraction such as churches, and the description does not do justice to the place. We nearly didn't visit some places because it sounded like all there was there were churches, but actually there was much more there that was unmentioned.

a good starting guide for the country
As always with DK Eyewitness, a good starting guide for the country, we used if for a visit to Dubrovnik, it's comeing out again in a month or two as we have a trip planned to Split.

highly functional, very clear and high quality
Very clearly organised into various useful sections - excellent text, diagrams and photographs. It accurately prepared me for my trip to Croatia. High quality binding and printing. Excellent product.

Reliable series of guides
Book looks helpful but have yet to use as trip cancelled at last minute due to illness. This is a good series of guide books which are usually most helpful--we shall see hopefully, next year!

The cover is bitten by mice
Inside the condition is good, but part of the cover is missing (looks bitten by mice) and has fly poo. If I knew about this, I wouldn't have bought it in this condition.
