Great Cooler, what else to be expected from WAECO.Extremely quiet and great cooling power.Have had in on middle cooling in Truck for 4 Days (when off work)and did not drain Battery in anyway.These have a pure sine wave inverter, take 12 and 24 Volt as well as House mains.Epensive but must be seen as a long time investment.

Very nice product.. While I have not fully tested out in the extreme heat yet, my initial tests have show it is working great. Placing warm items into the cooler and placing it on max cooling has worked well.One item to note is that I live in Canada and only will be using this item via DC connection, when I first connected it up the very small fuse with in the 12v asso connection blew and the fuse it not standard. I am not sure how to obtain a new one, so I had to modify the connection with a fuse that is obtainable in Canada.

I bought this item to supplement our caravan fridge as we were going on holiday and meeting up with our daughter and family and friends. Originally I looked at another brand sold via a large camping and outdoor retailer but almost every reviewer had a major problem with that item and returned it or got their money back. Additionally most of the other brands cool only to a max of 20 degrees below ambient. I remembered this brand from a 4x4 magazine review of camping fridge/ coolers and searched for this brand on Amazon. Every review I read was positive, mostly from lorry drivers but also from campers too. I ordered this larger model and it was delivered within a couple of days. It is roomy, cooled to 0 degrees from 20 degree ambient in an hour (it is capable of cooling to 30 degrees below ambient) and works 0n 12/24v DC or 240v AC. It worked in the car off 12v on journey down to Wales and was not overly noisy (fan switches off when temp reached). It worked well in the awning with day time temps up to about 25 degrees C and could be turned down for cooler night time temperatures so that the fan was not needed. This model also heats but we did not try that function so cannot comment. This cooler is expensive but worked out the box with no problems what so ever; so much so that my daughter and son in law are looking at buying one for their camping holidays in the future.

READ THE SMALL PRINT!. It confirms that the unit is fine up to an ambient temperature of 30 degrees. Fine if you want an extra fridge in the awning for use in the UK - but as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike when used in the South of France in June! - Cools but nowhere near as good as the caravan fridge.

Unable to find fault. I start on Monday and disappear to the tarmac until Friday night and it doesn't skip a beat. Well worth spending the extra to get the performance and reliability. Don't bother going cheap (Argos / Go Outdoors) you'll waste your money, just like I did.

I bought this Item about 7yrs ago and have used it through most summers at home chilling wine.When out with the motorhome or caravan I've used it to chill all drinks to a refreshing ice cold level.We have just come back from Portugal, 3 weeks and a Sept heat wave.The cool box was kept in the awning which was in direct sunlight. Thermometer readings 46/48.This box didn't quite bring the temp down to ice cold but wasn't far off.The new dometic fridge in the caravan struggled and our friends with their cool boxes kept giving me warm beer!This cool box saved us, after 24 hours your thirst will be well quenched. Our friends are now buying their own.

Keeps your food very cold, even in hot weather. My only problem with the cooler is the way the power lead comes out of the bottom as you can catch your foot on it and bend, or damage, the lead. I have had one in the past with the lead at the top and it caught on other stuff so there isn't really an ideal place to put it.I am a truck driver and I like the way I can load up the fridge at night and plug it into the mains to cool down over night. It is an expensive fridge but worth every penny I believe.Be aware that even though this item is eligible for Prime delivery it comes from Germany and takes around 4 - 5 days to arrive.

Bought this for the truck,great quality, very quiet when left on all night,keeps my food fresh all week.

Le frigo box ne fonctionne plus ni ne refroidit correctement car le ventilateur est a l 'arret je ne l 'ai utilisé qu'une seule fois depuis ma commande

está bastante bien aunque es eléctrica, la cambie porque quería una de compresor

Ik heb een klacht ik heb donderdag 25 juni 2020 de domesticatie tropicool terug gebracht voor retour na een dhl post ik heb nog niets gehoord of een mail terug gehad dat jullie het ontvangen hebben ik heb contact proberen te krijgen maar dat lukte ook niet ik kreeg een tel te zien dat heb ik gebeld maar dat was na Amerika werd ik ook niets wijzer van ik heb ook mijn geld nog niet terug gekregen van jullie er staat steeds bij de melding dat het nog in verwerking is normaal gesproken doe ik dit niet zo gauw zo.n bericht schrijven in het openbaar maar ik had geen keus zo als ik jullie niet kan bereiken Groetjes fam franken
