Faber-Castell TK - Mechanical Pencil 2 mm H 940

excellent pencil, seriously, right up there in the 2mm clutch choices. Don't let the lack of sharpener in the push button put you off, the tk4600 does have the built in sharpener, but honestly, you're going to want a dedicated 2mm lead sharpener that collects the dust after a few goes on a built-in. While they work ok, they're a bit of a faff. So, no sharpener, no problem, these offer plenty of lead hardness options and are good value, mine arrived safely with lead intact. super easy to use, comfy, hexi so they don't roll away but good luck when someone picks it up to have a butchers and sends the lead plummeting to the floor in a slow mo movie "noooo"

This is less chunky than most clutch pencils I've used, about the same thickness as a normal wooden pencil. Personally I really like this, but it might not be for everyone if you prefer a fatter pencil.This particular model seems to be the cheapest Faber-Castell make, however the only sign of this is it's lacking a sharpener in the button. I don't actually mind this, I find such sharpeners don't last long before breaking anyway and prefer a separate sharpener. Despite the plastic barrel the pencil seems very well made, there are no signs of things being able to come unscrewed or the lead slipping.

My favourite pencil. In my experience the Faber Castell pencil grips the leads better than other makes of 2mm pencils. It is a real pleasure to use.

am very disappointed as I wanted a mechanical pencil as described but got a clutch pencil instead and it was slightly dearer than the clutch pencil advertised. please be more specific so as not to mislead buyers!

The product is OK and works well but is costly for what it is and not particularly well made, but I guess if it works then 'Job Done'!
