Having said that the ink in the kit is great for stamping envelopes
Very versatile kit, has everything you need to make your personal stamps. I am impressed with the variation and end product. The ink, if you want a permanent non-bleeding finish as I do I would go for another type than in the kit. The ink in the kit will run if you want to apply a liquid finish to a project. Having said that the ink in the kit is great for stamping envelopes, addresses or marking books or general usage of the kind.

Excellent kit and fun, but needs a few more lower case "e"
This is like the traditional "John Bull Printing Outfit" I had as a child. It works. The type is about 4mm high for lower case, so quite big. They provide a good number of yellow devices to insert the type into, the largest has 5 lines of type. But be warned, if you are writing in English, there are only 5 lower case "e". It is surprising how many you need! They also provide some "รฉ" and other accented "e" characters, so I managed to create the words I needed by cutting the accent off the รฉ with a scalpel. If you are going to be composing a lot of words you might want to consider ordering two kits, to get the letters you need. They include a pair of tweezers to grip the type, and a black ink stamp pad. Of course it is very fiddly to compose the rubber type letters in the yellow type holders, but that's part of the fun. I'm pleased with my purchase and have used it for titling my artwork.

Everything you need
What a great bit of kit, it can be fiddly but worth it. You get quite a lot of upper and lower case letters. The letter mounts hold the letters great. I got this to use on fabric, but used a different ink. Overall a neat kit.

Perfect for DIYers
Needs your commitment to DIY, or it simply won't work โ it is not extremely easy but you can do it with a bit patience. Absolutely the best DIY stamp kit. Typeface is very beautiful. Has a vintage look, stamping quality is very professional and will give that old school look. The case is super useful for storage.

It's OK - depending on what you need
The results produced by this printing set are much as you may remember from using them as a child: basic but OK. As you can see from the main photo, there is an impressive amount of parts to this set for the price - but it's a better woman than me who can get it all back into the box when you've finished your printing activities. This type of printing is always fiddly, but I do find this set to be perhaps slightly more fiddly than many; I think this is because the rubber is slightly thinner than the original printing sets. The ink pad is satisfactory, but nothing special. It's not of a quality I would consider worth reinking - but of course ink pads aren't expensive and are available in many different colours anyway (but I certainly wouldn't want to try fitting any other ink pad into this set, given that I can't even get this one back in with everything else). Adequate, but not special.

Reasonable Quality Printing Kit.
I quite like this recent purchase of a Shiny DIY Printing Kit, which I bought to stamp details into my books and project collection. It comes complete with an internal box which holds the type face lettering in two layers. Uppercase and lower case, with several rows of numerals and the various stops, commas, colons and apostrophes etc., a pair of tweezers is also included and seven plattens to hold the type, plus an ink pad. I found a little difficulty in gripping the letters and fixing them to which ever platten I was using but soon got the hang of it. The kit is approximately 21 CM by 16 CM in size. It comes at a reasonable price and should last a long time so long as you do not lose the tiny letters.

Good value
Brought as a cheaper alternative to a typewriter. Works great for short poems or paragraphs. Comes with an array of templates and Tweezers to make the process easier. Ink can be a little smudgy and I imagine it could become quit tedious to print something of length, but worked great for what I brought it for!

Great fun, easy to use
This item is just as described and I'm very happy with it. I make my own photographic note cards and use the stamp for description on the back. It works great and I like the versatility this set provides. I highly recommend this to anybody who's interested in making their own stamps.

Viel zu klobig und zu gross!
Viel zu klobig und die Buchstaben fallen auseinander. Nicht professionell

It works
Yes- it will take a while to create the stamp- but I bought this specifically to create a dedication stamp to stamp in our front sidewalk of our new home and it worked! I made a 3 line stamp with blank lines in between. Instead of doing it all at once- I did the first line one day, then another line another day, ect. I found my own fingers to work better than the tweezers included. TIP: Use a mirror. I kept getting letters backwards and that helped me to easily see if I was laying out my stamp correctly. The letters will probably be smaller than you would like but there are enough of everything to get the job done :)
