Silentnight Teddy Fleece Electric Blanket, Double, 120x135cm

Absolutely perfect, super soft and incredibly warm! I bought as I’m going through the menopause as I’m 51 and getting chronic hip pain and joint aches. It really helps to keep me comfortable and cosy after a busy day. It extremely comforting especially paired with brushed cotton sheets, pillow cases and teddy fleece duvet cover! Luxuriously comfy! A must for us suffering with this menopause rubbish!! Treat yourself! Also good with a cup of tea brought to you and a slice of cake watching true crime in bed!!!

Superb, it's comfortable and warm!

Okay, the pros: it's soft enough that you won't feel the wires (which is an issue with some electric under blankets). The settings are simple. 3 will give you a nice glow, 2 is a comfortable warmth, 1 is strictly to maintain a gentle hum of heat once it's been warmed up by 2 or 3. The giant straps are easy enough to fit on the bed and it's stayed in place while I've been using it. Okay, the things to be area of: SIZE: it won't cover the entire mattress. I've found the best way is to position it so the bottom edge is going to be under your feet to keep them warm. Your shoulders will have to fend for themselves. COVERAGE/SOCKET: The blanket doesn't warm to its edges. If there are 2 in the bed, then you're going to get cold edges left, so sign a truce and learn to share no man's land. One of you is also going to have to contend with the socket-attachment being on their side of the bed. In both cases, it's not a MAJOR issue, but if every inch of the bed is valuable, you might need to think again. Make sure you do your measurements before ordering. TIME: It takes a good 30 minutes (at least) to reach the desired temperature/feel. Part of this is logical, because it's not going to instantly zap the bed to the temperature you want, but it IS a tad slow. Not an issue if you're organised enough to switch it on with sufficient time before retiring, but more of an issue if you're looking for a quicker warm-up on a cold evening.

It’s fantastic can’t believe how warm and cosy it eas

I wanted a simple blanket that was easy to fit. it fulfilled theses requirements and I am very pleased

Used for a month last winter and no longer works. Not great for the price

The teddy fleece material is incredibly soft and cosy, making the bed feel instantly snug even before turning it on. With three adjustable heat settings, it warms up quickly and allows you to find the ideal temperature for a restful night’s sleep. The elasticated straps make it easy to fit securely onto the mattress, and it stays in place all night without bunching up. The overheat protection gives great peace of mind, and it’s also machine washable, making maintenance effortless. It’s energy-efficient, reliable, and perfect for staying warm through winter without needing to heat the whole room. A top-quality electric blanket from a trusted brand.

I purchased the double teddy fleece electric blanket to replace my old one. The size is just over a single bed size and nowhere near the size of a standard double bed. It literally only covers just over half of my double bed. Apart from the serious sizing issue the blanket itself is lovely if you only want half your bed covered and your the only person in the bed or you use it as a 2 person foot and butt warmer its ok. It warms up fast and very snug and doesnt move around if you use the straps. They need to reevaluate the sizing. It is not a double.

I purchased this item on October 2025 & on Christmas Day it stopped working. Can’t get any help or response from Amazon on this problem.
