Can you please advise what is the expiry date of this cartridge and if it comes in an outer box - thank you ?

Good Afternoon. Sad to say I am just as much in the dark regarding the expiry date as you are, but given that the cartridge is being supplied by an ink company I wonder if it is a refilled one. If not, the small print on that page does mention starting date of 2001, not sure if this applies to an old HP cartridge or not. I have over the years bought various #45, and #78 HP cartridges which were all out of date, and a few have been short usage, others have gone on for ever. It's a "pig in a poke". Sorry I cannot be of more help. Last comment have you trawled all the pages for a #45 cartridge, because there will always be someone who states the expiry date; if it aint stated I would be a bit sus about the deal.

Is it fine for hp deskjet 710c? it is an old printer... i'm not sure.

Hello there, fellow owner of an ancient HP printer. I have a 970 printer, which also uses the "45" cartridge, and many years ago I owned a 710C printer. Yes, your printer uses a "45" cartridge according to the literature. In my experience, it is better to grit your teeth and pay full whack for a genuine HP cartridge, as "refills" can be a bit uncertain. A word of advice. If you order a genuine HP cartridge, when it arrives do not open it straight away, look first at the back of the outer carton, in the bottom right hand corner. If someone has stuck a label over the corner, gently peel it back. This will reveal the "sell by" date. Only this week I took delivery of a "45" cartridge, and sure enough it had a label over the bottom right hand corner. The date underneath was November 2016, four and a half years out of code. It may be that the ink is still OK, but I was not prepared to take the chance bearing in mind the 40 pound price tag. I am sure that this is an isolated case, but be a little bit cautious and check the date. To be fair, my order also included a "78" colour cartridge, which is well within code and I have kept. The out-of-code "45" cartridge has been returned.

Cartridge TC-H45XL As yet unopened, but suits an old H.P. printer Deskjet 710C. No expiry date obvious (unless inside the package); it has an outer box.

I would like to order 14 of these cartridges but a delivery charge is being added to each cartridge. Is there any way to avoid this?
