My dog has severe skin issues. No redness after wearing this for one night. Perfect fit is as described but too long in the legs. If your dog has long leg legs, then the entire fit should be perfect; however, my dog a stout Shih Tzu with short legs. The material is comfortable, light, and breathable. She does not try to wiggle free. The functionality does exactly what I needed it to do because she woke up with no redness; she’s scratching cloth rather than her skin. The outfit does slip off her legs because of her little legs. I highly recommend this outfit for dogs because it does exactly what I bought it for. The material holds up well through the washer. Originally, I air dried it instead of machine dry; however, I will update it runs through the machine dryer. I’m hoping the legs shrink.

After multiple vet visits, allergy shots, flea meds, blood tests, etc our vet has concluded that Leela is just a little bit of an obsessive chomper in her free time, so while she isn’t busy on walks or playing/laying with us and we’re at work we needed an option to help keep her from mowing her backside down. She was getting bald patches all over but this onesie has successfully kept her from continuing that bad habit. Actually she seems quite comfortable in it! The snaps are strong and there are a lot of them, so there’s no chance she can sneak out of it. One thing I did notice was the legs were kind of long on her, but then again my girl is a little shorty 😂 I just rolled them up and it fits perfectly otherwise! 10/10 product, definitely glad we purchased. Lightweight, fits snug but not too tight (XXL for 16 lb Cavalier mix). She can wiggle and wag and do her business with it on and it protects all the spots she’s been chomping so hopefully we can start seeing some hair growth soon 🙌🏼

Post Spay of my female Maltese this medium sized suit is too large. I should have gone with the small or even an extra small if one was available. So I cuffed the arms and legs and it works fine. It’s looks adorable when she stands and if applied correctly, no removal required before potty breaks.

Based on the size chart, I ordered an XL but it was way too big on her body and the sleeves were extra long even though I was taking into account the fabric stretch and guided myself based on pictures posted by other reviewers. I have a 15 lbs female Maltese that is having skin hives, redness and irritation due to allergies so in my case, long sleeves was important. So I have been shopping for a breathable lightweight cotton bodysuit that will minimize the skin damage she is causing due to her scratching. She has a chest girth of 19”, neck 11” and back length of 12-13” measured from nape of neck to the base of her tail. The chart size for XL states chest girth 19.6”, neck 13.8” and back length of 13.7”. So based on these measurements, the XL should have fit her well but unfortunately, it did not. The biggest problem was the back length was much longer than stated on the chart size for XL so it was way too long. Also, the sleeves were too long for her height. I imagine that these bodysuits are probably designed for taller, longer legged pups but typically, small dogs have shorter legs, so I just don’t get it. However, the chest girth and neck were both acceptable although the chest girth of the bodysuit was a bit looser than I would have liked it to be considering the girth was designed for a 19.7” body and my dog’s girth was also 19”. I prefer a more form fitting bodysuit than it be too loose that she could step out of it. The construction seems well made. I took measurements of the bodysuit and this is what I got. Pictures are attached as well. The chest girth of the bodysuit measured 20”, the neck measured 11”, and the back length was 15.75” which as mentioned before was the problem considering the size chart states it is intended for a back length of 13.7”. I know how difficult it is to buy doggie clothes so I hope the pictures I took of the XL bodysuit will help others with buying right size. I will be returning the XL and plan to order the medium. I will update this review with those measurements once received. Other than the size issue, the actual construction of the bodysuit seems to be well made. The material is supposed to be a lightweight/breathable cotton fabric and it is lightweight and seems to feel and look like a cotton blend. It likely has spandex because there is a slight stretch to the bodysuit but don’t expect it to have a lot of give. The feel of fabric itself was a bit stiff but after washing, I would think it would be fine. Definitely consider that this is a “long sleeve” bodysuit and the length of the sleeves seem to be designed for a tall long legged dog. I had a need to also cover my Maltese’s legs to stop her from nipping and biting at them and there are very few long sleeve bodysuits to select from. Most are half sleeve or no sleeves at all so I do hope that the medium will fit her because the bodysuit is cute and seems like it would work for her situation. As far as the type fasteners used to close the bodysuit, I do like the idea of using the snap button fasteners better than those bodysuits that rely on Velcro. Velcro doesn’t work well with hair dogs especially if long haired since the hair does get caught in the loop and hooks of the Velcro. However, what I am disappointed about is the choice to use a plastic version of these fasteners. The plastic snaps are a cheap alternative to the quality of metal snap fasteners that are more durable. On the plastic snaps, it is very typical for the male side of the fastener to wear or break very easily. I have seen a good share of reviews complaining about the plastic snaps breaking and often times they come already defective from the get-go. I know that the plastic version of these snap fasteners are commonly used for most doggie clothes but why can’t they just use a better quality metal fastener that is much more durable and reliable like the ones used for baby clothes. Just saying, use materials that will the clothes last.

Wish I could give thieve pajamas a minus 10. The style and fit were ok, but the fabric smelled like chemicals, my dog hated it. The feel of the fabric is odd. Like sandpaper. I can’t return it because I cut out the hole for a male dog. They even made my trash can smelly.

Ordered a size SMALL for my tiny chihuahua that’s 5lbs & it fits him perfectly! He got neutered recently & he wouldn’t keep a cone or diaper on so this absolutely helped!! Kept a diaper on & put this outfit on over & it kept the diaper in place!! I’ve tried other outfits on here & either the sleeves are too long or the outfit in general is just too big for my little tiny baby.

These are so darn cute on my Maltipoo . He’s 11-13 lbs and was having issues with hot spots. This helped treat his hotspots as he wasn’t able to access them to lick or scratch therefore healing them. I sprayed him , waited to dry then dressed him. There was some shrinkage . The print is super cute and vibrant .
