This inexpensive tool is just right for controlled grit blasting in a small area. It is perfect for ‘smart’ repairs on vehicle bodywork. Sandpaper and wire brushing alone will not get the rust out of the little craters and pock-marks on the steel surface! Pick the rubber nozzle which best covers the work area and blast away. About 50% of the grit media will fall into the cloth bag for re-use but some will shoot out to left and right. It is therefore important (and should be obvious) to cover anything which might be damaged as a result. I used mine to remove some nasty rust on the edge of a car bonnet. This tool made quick and easy work of removing the rust inside the pits and crevices. Once everything is clean and shiny, treat the surface with a rust converter/preventer, then finish with acid etch primer, topcoat and clearcoat. For best results use a decent air compressor.

even with a large and powerful compressor this is a bit hit and miss. I adjusted the pressure and every setting i could find. It works ok, but was maybe not suited for what i wanted (removing paint from a wheel). If you have a small shot blasting project this will work for you. anything complex or big maybe not so good.

This item at over 100 psi would hardly take the skin off the top of a rice pudding! Don't waste your money. Buy a decent item! There should be a law against people making such tat!
