It works
My wife bought this for me and last week she accidentally dropped my watch from hip high and it fall face first on the tile. The protector cracked and I was really worried it went right through but to my surprise the screen was untouched so here I am buying my next set. On the other hand the first glass just fell off after 2 months but I never found it so I have no idea what happened to it

Totally worth it even if your Apple Watch has scratches.
I bought the series 9 Apple Watch and after no more than a week of use I had a gouge (not a scratch) on it. Was extremely disappointed till someone on Reddit recommended i try a screen protector that uses UV Glue. This is the first one I have tried and I must say my Apple Watch feels just like new. The gouge is literally invisible and cannot be seen at all. Not to mention I have had a harder time getting this screen protector scratched in comparison to my actual watch screen. So yeah, 10/10 recommend. I wonโt be using my watch ever without it
