Naturtint Permanent Hair Colour Gel 4M Mahogany Chestnut, Plant Enriched, Biobased, Ammonia Free, Long Lasting Grey Coverage and Radiant Colour, Nourishment and Protection

I am more than pleased with my first purchase of Naturtint Hair Colour, from all the products I researched this appeared the kindest for my newly grown and sensitive hair after chemotherapy. I lost my hair completely and waited patiently for it to grow back to a point that I could colour it. It had returned almost completely grey, dry and brittle. I was very apprehensive about what product to use so as not to further damage the hair but definitely wanted to use something because as it was, it was making me feel old before my time and after going through all that horrendous and at times brutal treatment which gives your body image the ultimate battering, I wanted at least some of my confidence, sparkle and glow back. This product did the trick, my hair may be short but the resulting colour (4M/Mahogany Chestnut) was so vibrant and luscious and made me smile the biggest smile upon looking in the mirror. It is such a deep and rich shade and I wasn't expecting that from something free of harsh chemicals and made with 99% natural ingredients, I was dubious as to whether it would cover the strong and stubborn grey but it absolutely did! Application was a breeze, I mixed only half the mixture to a ratio of 1:1 in a separate applicator bottle and it was more than enough for my short hair so I have enough for another session when the need arises. It was gentle on my scalp and so nourishing on my hair, after just one application , not only was my hair a gorgeous colour it was soft, smooth and conditioned. The after colour quinoa conditioner mask included is integral to the whole colouring process and for a perfect finish so definitely not a step to be skipped and the generous amount means it can be used a good few times afterwards to keep your colour looking it's best. Naturtint may well be a little on the pricey side compared to some others on the market but I will 100% be purchasing again because to me it was worth every penny, it was kind and gentle on my 'new' hair which had grown back in a sad and sorry state. It has not only given my hair new colour but also a new lease of life. The fact I can get two applications from the one pack whilst my hair is still only short is a welcome bonus but when it grows longer (fingers crossed) and needs the entire contents to suffice, I will still be more than happy to purchase because it is a superior, vegan product of exceptional standard, enriched with organic oils and natural ingredients and my hair is most definitely worth it, as am I! Definitely easier on the pocket than a trip to the salon. So many stunning colours to choose from is a joy and I may well experiment in the future but for now this is my perfect shade. The colour is exactly has pictured. The product comes also with gloves, and with a quinoa based mask to apply after dying the hair. It leaves it soft ans shiny.

Value

First time I've used this colour, I've used a few colours in this brand of hair dye. This mahogany chestnut is my favourite. My hair is a lot better for using this brand of hair dye as its amonia free. As my hair is a lot more manageable now,it used to get so tangled when washing it with hair dyes with amonia in thar I used to dread washing it . It's a lot cheaper than going to a hairdresser to have it done,so glad I found this brand on Amazon. A little more expensive than some brands but a lot better for your hair.

It came out much darker than expected but a lovely colour

My Starting Hair: dry, wasted looking dark brown hair The Process: The formula was creamy and easy to apply, and the chemical scent was very mild. I know because I have a strong nose! It sat on my hair for 45 minutes with no irritation nor any scalp itching. I kept it on for that long because of my gray hair framing my face. The Color Result: It turned out exactly they way I like it, dark brown but when the sun hits my hair, omg! the red shows great!. It covered my grays completely. Hair Texture: Afterward, my hair felt silky and healthy. The Fade: After 6 weeks of washing, the color has faded and a recolor or touch up is needed. 🟢 Pros: love the color result, and it doesn't hurt my eyes 🔴 Cons: it does stain towels after coloring hair for couple weeks afterwards. Like the color is being washed away.

The thing i love the most about naturatint, is that it is not animal tested, as far as know, all the other ones are.Big bonus : the colours are amazing.The down side is that they fade after 4 weeks.But since it is so gentle on my hair.I do not hesitate giving it an extra treatment! I have shoulder long hair and get 2 treatments out of one package.But My hair is not thick.

Ma dernière commande n’a pas bien été prise en compte j’ai reçu du blond au lieu de châtain /acajou. Toutefois -le produit couvre Bien les cheveux blancs -il ne dessèche pas les cheveux -on voit les reflets à la lumière. Mais la couleur s’estompe un peu après quelques champoings.

Poser une coloration naturelle n'est pas une mince affaire, donc quand le résultat obtenu n'est pas à la hauteur des efforts : c'est très frustrant ! Ce produit a généré plus de déception et de frustration qu'autre chose. # cheveux blancs non couverts.

This review is for the 4M Mahogany Chestnut. My hair started out at a somewhat brassy level 7 due to previous lightening and also coloring with a different brand of professional hair color that washed out very quickly. Thought I would go ahead and give NatureTint a try and went with 4M in hopes of getting a darker brown with reddish hue to it. I left the color in for 40 minutes as I do have grays, and I also went with some heat as I figured the results would be darker that way. The color was easy to rinse out. There was a lot of color that bled as I continued to rinse and rinse and rinse. Even my conditioner turned pink due to color bleed. Not a big deal. Just sharing for information purposes. The resulting color is quite dark, which is what I wanted, and I am excited to see how long it lasts considering I must have very porous hair and color washes out quickly even with color-safe shampoos. I will update this review as I see color fade or am ready for another go at gray coverage. But so far, I like what I am seeing and thought I would share with others who may have curiosity about color results for fine, previously colored hair with some porosity.
