This was an excellent read and offers those start up businesses with a basis on innovation a comprehensive guide and working examples for the journey ahead I will continue to use this book as a reference for the bumpy road ahead

This is a great book for people like me who work in the innovation space. It really helps you to think about how to focus and encourages you an provides additinoal tools to help you convince people that innivation doesn't begin and end with just the product! I would recommend this to any and all innovation professionals.

GREAT VALUE AT A TENNER
Great book, great structure. Ideal for the marketeer. Purchased with a view to a studen course on creativity, but would really need to be part of a specialist marketing course. An easy read with plenty of examples and detailed elaboration of the 'ten types'

This is the outstanding book on Innovation for many years and will quickly become the standard reference. I have recommended it to many leading practitioners in the field of Innovation management and their response echoes mine. It rewards at least a second read and will change the way many companies approach this critical subject.

A Valuable New Way of Looking at Innovation
Larry Keeley and his co-authors have written an insightful book which is essential reading for anyone serious about innovation. The book categorises all innovations into one of ten types - profit, network, structure, process, product performance, system, service, channel, brand, customer engagement. It gives several examples of companies who have employed each type. The key argument in the book is that companies will be more successful if they innovate in more than one category. Some of the ten types are a little tenuous and there is overlap between them. Nonetheless this is a useful new way of looking at innovation and it provides a valuable strategy roadmap for CEOs planning future new ventures. The book is laid out in a large landscape format and has many flashy graphics. Maybe for this reason is it a little overpriced but it is still highly recommended.

Great book that summarizes the innovation process based on categorization and real-world examples.
I highly recommend this book. Helps you get inspired in your own domain. In the ideation Phase you want to see the real problems and find ways to overcome them creatively, not through thinking inside your own bubble, but to be inspired by other successful experiences. A very good read.

Interessant und Aufschlussreich
Die 10 Types of Innovation wurden mir im Zuge eines Innovation Workshops vorgestellt. Hier vor allem die Bewertung zahlreicher Unternehmen und "Innovationen" der vergangenen Jahre - mit dem Hinweis, dass die wirklich erfolgreichen Innovationen weit mehr waren als die Perfektionierung von Produkten. Wenngleich Format und Fülle des Textes hier nicht so einfach konsumierbar sind wie andere Publikationen zum Thema Innovation in dem Format möchte man keine Zeile missen. Als einziges Manko möchte ich hier anmerken, dass der konkrete Bezug zur realen Anwendung noch stärker hätte integriert werden können. So finden sich zwar Hinweise auf die App (Nur IOS und nicht im AT Shop) sowie der Karten - doch leider finden sich weder konkrete Trainings noch andere Ressourcen für die direkte Anwendbarkeit. (Keine Scorecards, keine Karten in deutscher Sprache, ...) Hier könnte Doblin doch noch wesentlich mehr Potential heben aus meiner Sicht.
