I bought one and then I buy one next day good for vapour barriers I am working on my car to stop a water leak and it is perfect same size as BMWs original butyl sealant I am happy

It is a great product, somewhat sticky and very workable.It adheres to surfaces as long as they are flat and clean.I used it as a seal in car's doors which worked brilliantly. I also stuck some LED strips in my footwells and it is holding them very strongly despite the plastic trim not being very flat; no other tape or adhesive worked there.

Perhaps a little too hard, but easy enough to work.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do.

The product did an okay job and keeping things together and sticking however the second there was a moderately decent force applied it failed at keeping itself together and would come loose. Rain also weakens the adhesion and makes it like standard rubber. Would work fine on light, indoor jobs but not so well at trying to keep exterior parts on a car.

This butyl tape was recommended to me and I can understand why - it is fantastic ! I used it to re-seal the vapour barriers on my car doors and it did the job perfectly, it seems to be just the same as the original butyl that BMW fitted in the factory

Does the job.

I was unsure about this at first as I had never needed to replace a headlight lens before, but this is great, easy to work with, holds the lens firm and watertight. I would strongly recommend it

We had a windshield replaced. It apparently had slightly different curvature than the original. Although there were no leaks in the car, at Interstate highway speeds we experienced a sound like heavy rain. We observed an abnormal space between the windshield glass and the car's trim (external). We presumed that the problem was due to wind-caused vibration of the trim.I pressed this butyl into the space between glass and trim (a bit difficult because it is sticky).Problem Solved ! I still need to press the material into the space to make it invisible (maybe spray Teflon on the tool I'm using to press it in. Any suggestions are welcome.Thank you.

So far so good and it's keeping my headlights together perfectly.

Good for sealing windows. Easy to use and it is very durable. Not a problem after being used for two weeks so far!

Amazing adhesion to clean surfaces. Great "temporary" hold for assembly without transfer. Prevents vibration too.
