Truly REEF SAFE with no ingredients that are toxic to humans or the environment! This sunscreen goes on smoothly, does not sting eyes, feels like a treatment on my skin and has a very subtle, nice scent. It rubs in beautifully, so our skin looks healthy and moisturized (not ghostly white). The sun protection is superior even after being in the water. Great sunscreen! Used this and the 50 in Aruba last week. Goes on nicely and since it’s tinted, you don’t see the whitish cast. No breakouts and works awesome. Used it on my face all week snorkeling and sunning. Didn’t finish one bottle for two of us. I didn’t need to reapply. But I do wear a hat. But the hat did get a little brownish on the band. Came out in the wash just adding some extra detergent to the band area. Smell is pleasant and plain, nothing weird. It’s worth the price to know it works and doesn’t destroy the corals and fish habitat that I enjoy snorkeling around. I also will be using this on my beach days to the Jersey shore because it doesn’t give my face the whitish cast or breakouts and we only have one ocean so I think it’s our job to safeguard it. Tested on humans not animals, yay!

Finally!!!! Absolutely LOVE the Tinted sunscreen! I have been looking for a healthier clean non nano zinc oxide sunscreen... I am so happy! The color is super nice! No white cast and it is slightly greasy - till it soaks in..... I am just thrilled! I've tried other natural brands including sky and sol and this is by far my favorite!!!! I highly recommend it! This product worked well for our annual trip to Kauai. Definitely needed a larger size or taking multiple on the plane. Did require quite a bit for full body coverage, but I was so glad to find a good, reef-safe option. My husband is pretty fair-skinned and did get burnt a couple of times, but we did not apply it as often as recommended. So, I recommend following the instructions to avoid burns. Nice scent, very thick, but spreads and blends in nicely. The tinting was not an issue for us, even with a fair-skinner user.

Pricey but after reading the reviews & about the ingredients I spent $35 and wanted to try it. I tried it today and really don't care for it at all. It's thick & feels greasy on my skin and smells bad. It's to the point where I'm about to take another shower to get it off. I think the finish looks pretty but with the smell and how it feels I can't use it. Sorry :-/

So far I think this feels so nice on the skin. It’s hydrating but not overly greasy. It has a little “grease” to it, but honestly I enjoy it because others sometimes make my skin feel extra dry and tight. I wear this under my mekeup after letting it absorb in for a few minutes first. It doesn’t see to change the outcome of my foundation. My mom also tried it and said it felt very nice on the skin.

I bought this for a trip to the Caribbean during the island's "hottest season." Did a LOT of research to find a truly REEF SAFE (not just reef friendly) product. I really wasn't sure from the listing about this tinted version, but I was convinced to try it by other reviews. So glad I did. It held up in the extreme heat for hours and hours. I rarely needed to reapply, and I was out in the sun and water and sand nonstop. Plus, I never once had a sunburn, and I am very fair. Not even a hint. Held up well to the ocean water, and plenty of sweat, too. In fact, I like it so much, it's become my daily sunscreen/foundation and it works just as well in the brutal cold of a Northern winter. It does go on a bit thick, so spread slowly and evenly. Also, it's a bit shiny, at first, but do NOT be tempted to put powder on top: you will end up with product pilling. Give the product a little time, and it does dry down to a less shiny finish. And lasts and lasts. Some reviewers found the scent off-putting. I'm very sensitive to scent, and I did not at all. But, just be aware that could be a "thing." Finally, I just LOVE that this is a small company, making truly pure products in a sustainable way. So happy to support them!
