I've been a fan and consistent user of Wildling gua sha tools for several years. Until the quality of their product dropped considerably and I returned it (I'd ordered a new one after my 4 y.o. one broke). I found this one and decided to give it a try. Umm, it's like $62 cheaper so there would've been leeway for it to be just half as good. But instead, I found it to be a totally worthy, equal replacement. The new, low-quality Wildling product is smaller and lighter than the OG and its U-shaped edge is thinner and sharp. It felt like it did more harm than good. this Yuanchupin tool is about the same size as the newer Wilding one (ie, smaller than the OG) BUT it is 6g heavier. Which means it feels nice and solid in your hand and exerts good pressure. The edges are all rounded and smooth so no scraping and dragging on your skin. If I had to get nitpicky to discern a difference between this and the OG Wildling, I'd say that the Wildling stayed cold to the touch, whereas this one doesn't as much. And that was in a side-by-side comparison so you probably wouldn't notice any shortcoming. You could keep it in the fridge to make up for that. Otherwise, it felt just as good as my OG, plus it comes with a really nice case made of thick structural felt. Bian stone gua sha tools are notoriously easy to break so it's important to have a good cushiony case. Wildling charges $22 for the case. And they charge for shipping. Totally happy with this product. If it does break I could replace it 10x before it cost me the same as one Wildling.

The brown pouch that comes with this is solid! This this the absolute best Gua Sha under $10. It's almost like the Wildling bian stone gua sha but for $62 less. It's a good weight and really worth it. Grab yourself one.

I have only used this on my husband and myself today but it does the job. I will see how it holds up over time.
