Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Crème Permanent Nourishing Hair Dye, 1 Black

The product itself is brilliant, use it all the time. I usually buy it in town but really just needed to bulk my order up for free delivery so I thought, why not? Its great color, long lasting, been using it for years. Top marks. Its a good thing its hair dye and not some gift. The box it came in was completely squashed, almost flat. Which obviously meant inside the product box was squashed, dented and one part ripped. I get its only hair dye and mines probably a 1 off. But it was completely squashed flat, like they didn't have a box big enough and just rammed it in the first one they could find. Thankfully it was for personal use and not part of some gift set I was putting together.

I would never normally use box dyes, but this is really incredible. It smells amazing, works quickly, is really really gentle on the scalp, leaves the hair feeling SOOO nice!! The black is gorgeous and true to the box colour. Will cover anything evenly! I used over my dark brown regrowth and bleach blonde length and all looks the same!

So my hair was red and wanted to go back to black. Very easy to use, the smell wasn't that bad and this is the only hair dye I've used that didn't tangle my hair while running my fingers through all the strands to dye it which ment i could get my whole head coated. I used two boxes as a hair dresser once told me better to have more then less when dying your hair. Very easy to wash out and left it soft, shiny and smelling great. Highly recommend!

Really gutted with how this product came. The product itself is decent enough for the price as I’ve used it before, usually covers whatever colour hair I have well, and smells good. Wanted to sort my hair out before an event I have planned but when I opened the box the top of the mixer had be broken and was everywhere, covered everything so I couldn’t used it. Still have to return it too to get a refund.

Good and don’t colour your head skin love it

Decided to go black from brown! My hair was patchy, dry (really dry) to silky smooth in an hour. This product is really good and doesnt have strong bleach-ish smell. Straightforward to use and makes your hair really smooth after use. My hair is thick and shoulder length, bought two box, just incase. Ended up using 1 box and 1/4. I was able to use the conditioner it came with twice max (per bottle). Would highly recommend this product.

I used the Garnier Nutrisse in Black to cover some grey hairs and refresh my colour, and overall I’m pretty happy with it. The colour came out a nice, natural black—not too harsh or blue-toned like some dyes can be. It also covered my greys well in just one go. My hair actually felt softer after dyeing, which I think is thanks to the oils they include in the formula. The box comes with everything you need and the instructions were clear and easy to follow, even though it’s my first time using this brand. The applicator made it pretty straightforward to put on. One downside: the smell during application is quite strong and chemical-y. It wasn’t unbearable but definitely noticeable, so I made sure to do it in a well-ventilated room. Also, it contains ammonia, so if you have a sensitive scalp, be careful and maybe do a patch test first. The colour has lasted a few weeks now without much fading, and I haven’t noticed any damage or dryness, which is a bonus. Overall: If you want a solid, natural-looking black dye that leaves hair feeling nice, this is a good pick. Just be ready for the typical hair dye smell.
