Our family has loved Nature Nate's products for years now. When we saw they came out with a Manuka Honey, we had to get it. The flavor is excellent and my wife takes a teaspoon of it daily. A quality product that is worth it from Nature Nate's. If you aren't familiar with the benefits of Manuka, you should read up on it.

I get sick all the time from my kids who go to daycare, but the kind of sick that's not bad enough to take medicine, just annoying. I started taking a spoonful of this as an alternative to my usual ibuprofen when I get a sore throat or cough and it WORKS!! Now I'm in the habit of taking a spoonful once a day and I feel like I'm getting sick less.

I’m sure this is healthy but the taste is super different than regular honey! Tastes a little like anise.

Manuka honey is amazing stuff, and I highly recommend everyone keep a jar on hand at all times. I burnt my finger on a hot pan 2 nights ago. Usually, I'd reach for noni juice (which is surprisingly good for burns), but really did not feel like having to keep my hand in noni juice for an hour and remembered that manuka honey is supposed to be good for burns, so decided to give it a try instead. Spread a thin layer on the burn and covered it with a bandaid. It felt better right away, although it still hurt. The next day I put some more honey and changed the bandaid. By midday it didn't hurt anymore. Today, it doesn't hurt at all. I can see and feel on my skin where the burn is, but it's not at all painful. With other methods, like running cold water over a burn or soaking in noni juice, my experience is that burns still hurt after a couple days. So that's pretty amazing to me. I will put more manuka on it until the skin goes back to normal just to help it heal, but I'm just amazed that it doesn't even hurt anymore. Manuka honey will definitely be my go-to for burns from now on as it's SOOO much more convenient than holding under running water or soaking for hours! Besides that, it tastes really, REALLY good! Good in tea, but also so good just by the spoonful. And it's good for you - good for overall wellness and for sore throats. Of course, it is pricey, so I'll use regular honey for everyday use, but will be sure to keep a jar of manuka honey on hand too.
