Really is a good product
These are thin and cook quickly. Unlike those thick cumbersome ones available at the grocery store, these are delicate and fresh. Lovely product. Would have given 5 stars but just not much taste.

Next best thing to handmade/rolled tortillas in Mexico!!
I discovered these when I lived in Southern California and bought them all the time from a local grocery store. They are delicious, puff up when you are cooking them (just like they should!), light, slightly chewy, taste great. I can never go back to those dried up cooked flour tortillas you get in the grocery store -- I'd rather not have any tortillas than use them. Like another reviewer said, they are expensive buying online due to shipping costs, and I can't afford them all the time since moving back to New Jersey, but I sure do love them when I do have them. I, too, wish I could purchase them locally again. They would always be a regular staple in my kitchen. Everyone I serve them to loves them. There's a lot of Mexican-food lovers in NJ and a large Mexican population. Bring them out here! :-)I have found that putting them immediately into a tortilla warmer keeps them at their best.Oh, and by the way....lard is no longer bad for you!! (lard-based is the way to go....the way a flour tortilla should be made!)

and that's what makes them superior. They brown nicely on both sides on my ...
Let me just say that while I'm not of proud Mexican heritage, I have been to Mexico many times and lived in San Diego for a few years. Ever since, I've been trying to re-create the cuisine in my home (more corn tortillas to do real Mex, more flour in SoCal). This is a delicious product. Keep in mind--these need to be cooked, and that's what makes them superior. They brown nicely on both sides on my cast-iron skillet. I like to watch them puff up as they heat then deflate as they cool. Great for small-to-medium burritos, quesadillas, or large tacos. I only wish they came in a larger size so I could make big burritos like I used to get in San Diego. I love both the canola and lard versions.

just as good as homemade love them
I was not sure on paying such a high cost for tortillas but me being in a wheelchair and bedridden most of the time making homemade is a task that is impossible.I cannot find these in my small town and I do not care for the ones being sold at our Walmart so I gave them a try and let me tell you what they are worth every penny.cook up fast stay fresh in fridge and after you cook up some.Nice and light not greasy and taste like homemade. We love them cannot afford to buy all the time but when I do have the money I will buying more so much better then anything out there period!

That was its (then) best time. When the tortillas WERE thicker
The HEALTH value, for ongiong time, of "Canasta Uncooked Flour Tortillas" be of TRASH. I have been a longtime customer, of this item, since >before its popularity. Since the brand-name was a low-seller. That was its (then) best time. When the tortillas WERE thicker. but once popularity came, and sales volume increased ---- the tortillas BECAME THINNER. Became WORTHLESS. Thinned-down so much, that the adding of Rosa***as refried beans: and once applied into the Canasta U.F.T. -- with the tortilla rolled up. The "Canasta" U.F.T. WILL CRACK, no matter how gently one appiies the folding.I speak of weeks of multiple attempts. Of multiple bagged units purchased.I have called the (858) listed phone number, several times. All times, there only be an ANSWERING MACHINE TO ANSWERING THE PHONE CALLS. As NO BUSINESS NAME BE GIVEN, If I, or any "Canasta" customer chooses to leave a message: it be a RISK. As we are not assured to who we are speaking to. DONT' leave your private infornation; don't expect a return call -- from such a company.

Great tortillas great taste wish they were hair thicker
I just had to give this a go. I love breakfast burritos! I used to live in Cali. when I was younger. You can’t beat the real taste of fresh home made tortillas! These are a great alternative choice. They have great flavor but it would be even better if you all could make them a hair more thicker.

Customer for life.
I have been on a quest to find tortillas just like these, for years. The store bought varieties have a chemical taste and a rubbery texture, nasty! These are thin, full of flavor, and super easy to cook.Delivery was very quick.
