Gourmets Unique Freeze Dried Fermented Napa Cabbage Kimchi, Made in USA, 50g

The kimich was phenomenal pair well with everything. It goes great with Ramen Bae for extra flavor. The fresh taste is spot on. The crispy and crunch as eating as a snack right out of the container. It is worth the price if you love kimich and smell perfectly.

It came soggy, it was not crunchy at all! Very disappointed because I was so excited to try freeze dried kimchi…saw people trying it from a different company and it was crunchy like a chip! This was not crunchy at all!

I bought these as a shelf stable form of kimchi that wouldn't require refrigerator to stop from restarting fermentation. These have good flavor and could be used as a crunchy kimchi flavoring but you can't rehydrate these at all. On the side of the container they state that if you do want to rehydrate it to remove the air-absorbing packet. That's the only reason why I tried it multiple times and it never worked. They do taste pretty good as small chips but overall are too small to be anything other than sprinkle-on flavoring.

I was excited to try this when I came across it. Unfortunately, it doesn't travel well. Half of it is fine crumbs. I’ll fine a use for the crumbs maybe a topping on rice or salad. 🌟Five stars for flavor

I love kimchi, but buying a jar to have half of it go bad was getting expensive. Plus, I'm the only one in the house that appreciates it. Then Freeze Dried Kimchi entered my life! The pieces of cabbage are bite sized and not overly spicy. In fact they are tasty as a crunchy snack right out of the jar. I added some to ramen while it cooked at in the end, it rehydrated perfectly. This is perfect for me to keep in my kitchen cupboard.

For authentic freeze-dried this is the ONLY vegetable I’ve ever bought that was rubbery, tough and like chewing paper. There are some flavors associated with kimchi, but due to insufficient (or misstated!) freeze drying ( liquid nitrogen) it’s just disappointing and annoying to eat. Not a good purchase, but could be so cool and even satisfying for a kimchi fan if crunchy

really good kimchi, you can eat it as is dried or you can add it in some water to hydrate it.... good product
