LOVE MOMENT Electric Mason Jar Vacuum Sealer Kit for Wide Mouth and Regular Mouth Mason Jars

2 Year Review. After almost 2.5 years, and several dozen uses, the battery finally got down to 47%, so I decided to charge it and write a review. I use it on both small and large mouth mason jars. When I put it on a jar, I push the button on top and let the unit run until the display reads 35, then I push the top button again to stop the unit and I can hear the lid pop as the jar seals (super easy). Well made, sturdy unit that is a little larger in diameter than a 32oz (1 quart) mason jar. All of my spices, coffees, sauces, cigars, etc. have kept for months (and years) as long as I use this to seal them up each time after opening their container. Pros - Has performed flawlessly - Obviously holds a charge for a very long time - Well made (has survived a few drops from the counter) - Very easy to use - Creates a vacuum solid enough to make removing the mason jar lid a chore - Blends in with the rest of my appliances - The jar adapter (small mouth to wide mouth) secures to the unit, so i don't lose parts Cons - Can only be used on mason jars If you own mason jars and use them for anything other than hot canning, you should consider buying this vacuum sealer. I'm known to be.....picky.....and I would buy this again.

I eat a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits and for years have made sure I'm using good quality storage containers that are air tight and water tight but I know that the secret to keeping things fresher longer is to remove the air. I've been getting marketing thrown at me about these vacuum sealers for jars for awhile now. I do use a vacuum sealer for bags, but that's not practical for short term storage when you need to get at something quickly and then seal it up again. This model got good reviews and seemed to have the same accessories that the other pricier models have so it seemed like a good choice. It works great. You can seal either standard width jars or wide mouth jars. When you buy jars in the store they come with lids but this pack includes extra lids in case you only have the jars. I had jars in the house so was ready to go as soon as this arrived. You place a lid on your jar, put the sealer over it and push the button. I let it go for about 25 seconds and you can actually hear the sound of the suction getting "higher" as the air is pulled out. Pulls out all the air and leaves the lid vacuumed on. I started with some Persian cucumbers and cherry tomatoes and right away you can see that things are staying dryer in the jars that are sealed. Usually those type of vegetables start "sweating" liquid and getting soft within a day or two. These look on track to be fresh all week. I don't have to worry as much about whether or not I'm buying something that will be bad before I get to use it. I can see this being handy for dry goods storage as well, especially if you're living in an area with high humidity. This will keep the moisture, air and even bugs out of your food. And there's no waste like with vacuum bags. You can open and reseal these jars over and over as much as you need. Comes with a USB C charging cable and an opener for safely removing the lids (which are reusable in this application). Would be nice if the opener was magnetized so you could keep it on your refrigerator for easy access but it's no issue keeping it in a drawer. Only real cost of ownership is the Mason jars, which are generally pretty inexpensive especially since they're reusable. If you've been tempted by the thought of using Mason jars and a vacuum sealer, you won't go wrong with this sealer.

This jar sealer works great! We freeze dry a bunch of food and I love storing in jars for easy access. Food stays crisp when I use this sealer in combination with an oxygen absorber. It’s really easy to use as my7 year old frequently uses it to reseal our freeze dried snacks. It works quickly and is light weight and works in both wide and narrow mouth jars. It seems to do a good job of removing air from the jar as all of our snacks have stayed crisp and fresh!

Bought this a year ago May and I've been wanting to write a review. So I've used this and it works fairly well however it doesn't always keep the seal . I did dried beens in a quart jar and I noticed in about five days the jar wasn't sealed anymore. I've noticed that happening more than I thought it should. I know I vacuum seal for about 60 seconds because usually it seals better. Anyway, it's not bad but just be aware to check your jars to make sure there still sealed.

This LOVE MOMENT electric vacuum sealer is powerful and fairly fast when drawing the air out of Mason (0r any) jars both wide mouth and small mouth- with the removable sizing ring on the unit. Very easy to use and easy to store with a fast-charging rate and a fairly quick vacuum function making it very versatile for two sizes of jar tops. Even included some new lids and with a strong suction this is the perfect setup- worth the price for long term dried food storage. We had harvested many pounds of yellow onions that we then dehydrated after slicing thinly. Filling jars and vacuum sealing them with this unit completed the project!

Love this sealer! We use it to seal dry foods, to reduce moisture that cause food to go stale.

Doesn't Work as Well as Expected – Underwhelming Results I'd give this LOVE MOMENT electric mason jar vacuum sealer kit a disappointing 3 stars. The concept is genuinely appealing—an electric vacuum sealer for both wide and regular mouth mason jars sounds like a convenient, efficient way to extend food freshness without the hassle of manual hand pump sealers. The electric operation is faster and easier than manual alternatives, and the kit covers both jar sizes which is a practical plus for different storage needs. The problem is that the vacuum seal it creates doesn't feel as strong, consistent, or long-lasting as I expected based on the product claims and reviews. Some jars seal better than others with no clear reason for the inconsistency, and maintaining a proper seal over extended storage periods has been hit or miss compared to what a proper vacuum sealer should deliver. For casual, short-term food storage it works well enough to be useful, but if you're counting on it for serious long-term food preservation it may leave you questioning whether the seal is actually holding. Not a terrible product, just one that didn't meet the expectations set by its marketing and price point. Worth trying if you have modest expectations going in.

I have just received this machine and I really can't stop playing with it. It works a treat and does exactly as it says on the box, can't tell about the longevity but certainly seems to be well manufactured. I would highly recommend as I'm sure it will extend the storage life of many of my products.

Very adequate replacement for any FoodSaver accessory attachment. High capacity battery, impressive interval between recharge. Straight and simple operation, easy time & remaining power level readout. Couldn't do without it now :)

When jar is sealed have hard time getting it free seals Tight .Easy to use with both size lids

I really liked using this product. It worked really well on all of my small and wide mouth jars. Doesnt work on Gem jars. But they are being phased put here in Canada, no where to find lids for them.
