Replacement Synchronous Motor for Motorised Valves ACL Honeywell Landis Gye Satchwell Sopec Tower Replacement Part 2-Port 3-Port Valve Failure

Used to repair Honeywell V4073A1039 3-port Mid-position valve (Y-plan). Warning: particular failed valve was over 25 years old (identifiable by not having a dimple on the top cover), it requires all four nuts to be removed to release the complete Motor head. This means a drain down or water bungs etc are needed to avoid water release. The later version with a dimple on the cover only needs two nuts to be undone to replace the Motor head and remains water-tight. This doubly makes the motor replacement the most cost effective and best course for repair. **Warning** Only competent persons should attempt this repair. Completely Power-off your heating system to isolate mains from the valve before opening valve cover (best remove fuse and safe-isolate). Remove two simple screws to release the failed motor which was clearly u/s as it turned by hand much easier than the new. Fitted the new motor and connected using Wago connectors - not the less positive wire-nuts supplied. Very pleased so far, as this high quality cost-effective repair option looks v.good so far. Valve control signals enabled the boiler to operate correctly so we have CH again.

My Honeywell motorised valve developed an intermittent fault within a couple of months of being fitted. Testing showed that the motor was faulty, and this was an easy replacement.

Good delivery ordered PM and arrived AM following day. only been in service for 3 days and working ok as I write this. I could have got this item for £9.88 but chose this supplier and paid a couple of pounds more for it believing it to be a Honeywell manufactured part but in fact it was a replacement for original manufactures part but I must say its physically the same apart from the wiring is coloured pink and the original has blue. this should be made clearer in the part description. A straight forward removal and fitting but you do need a good electrical knowledge for isolation of the heating system electrics before disconnection and removing from the 3 way valve, not a job for novices. I just hope it lasts as long as the original.

Wenn die Heizung nicht mehr läuft, aber Warmwasser vorhanden ist, dann ist mit großer Sicherheit das 3 Wegeventil im Warmwasserboiler , bzw. der antreibende Stellmotor defekt. Das Ventil kpl. kostet ca. 180-350 Euro, der Ersatzmotor alleine 15- 20 Euro, Ausbau des Motors super einfach, viel Geld gespart!!!! O.a. Teil habe ich eingebaut (ca. 15 Minuten), super paßgenau und einwandfreie Funktion! Noch ein Tipp: bis der neue Motor da ist, den kleinen Stellhebel auf manuell (nach oben) schalten, dann werden beide Kreise (Warmwasser und Heizung zum Teil bedient) so kann man sich vorübergehend behelfen. Das ist aber keine Dauerlösung!! Habe mir bei dem Preis gleich noch einen Reservemotor hingelegt, (;-))

Il motore funziona perfettamente, è praticamente uguale, c’è una piccola differenza di 1 mm sull’altezza dell’ ingranaggio, attenzione ho detto altezza non passo, quindi è praticamente uguale

Utilisé dans le cadre d'un remplacement de moteur de vanne 3 voies pour lequel Engie avait réalisé un devis de plus de 500€. Fonctionne bien mais a tendance a chauffer, pour ma part je lui ai "collé" un petit dissipateur thermique de processeur de pc afin qu'il chauffe un peu moins. Mis a part cela ça fonctionne, pour le prix et les économies réalisées, n'hésitez pas, j'en ai même pris un autre d'avance ! A savoir : ce genre de moteur a une durée de vie limitée et finis toujours par lâcher (marche constante) au bout de deux ou 3 ans maxi. Donc en avoir d'avance est une bonne solution de dépannage.

Buscábamos un motor síncrono de 220V con piñón para válvulas, y ya por la imagen era igual que el que teníamos. Lo pedimos un viernes por la noche. La entrega estaba programada para el siguiente jueves y llegó el lunes, tres días antes, y además encajaba perfectamente sin necesidad de ningún ajuste. Aunque costará diez euros más que los que encuentras enviados de China (y este también está fabricado allí) compensa el conseguirlo en una semana.
