This product did nothing but make me break out way more Then I ever have

No complaints about the performance of this acne treatment. It's a medium/thin consistency that spreads easily. Even though it's whitish in color, it disappears when applied and can easily be used during the day without notice (although it is best used before bed for max results). It has a light scent that dissipates quickly. Although targeted to men, I don't see any reason why this would not work well for both men and women.The salicylic acid concentration is a bit less than other spot treatments (1.6% vs 2%) but it still provides good results. I've not had any skin irritation from this, but I've been using salicylic acid treatments for years. If you've never used this type of acne treatment formulation before, it's best to start off slow to see if any irritation results. It comes in a nice pump dispenser that meters out the cream slowly so none is wasted.While I have no complaints about this cream, it is not significantly different than other salicylic acid treatments that cost less than half of this (some brands that don't include moisturizing benefits are about 1/4 the cost of this). Granted, it's packaged in a more upscale manner compared with other brands and it has some moisturizing benefits, but the bottom line -- acne treatment performance -- is not any better from this brand vs much less expensive ones.While the performance rates 5 stars, factoring in the value puts my score at 3 stars (average).

This review is for the Tiege Hanley ACNE Cream for Men (ACNE) | SALICYLIC ACID 1.6% to Visibly Reduce Acne. This is one I really did not think would work. How does it dry out and yet moisturize. A mystery.At this point I have tried the majority of the Tiege stuff. I started out thinking it was just okay, but the more I use it the more I like it. Its been that way with every product of theirs I have.One gripe I see all the time is about the size. Guys always want a gallon for five bucks, thats just the way we are. So when you get two ounces or so for twenty or more we get anxious. We feel deprived.Then we use the stuff all mad like we have been abused. We whine about it. The when we notice no one cares about our whining, we begin to evaluate the actual results from our two ounces.The stuff lasts longer than we thought. It works better than we thought it would. We finally feel ok about it. We kind of like it. But we still want a gallon of Tiege for five bucks.Now we can complain about why does everything good we like cost so much. Are we going to stop whining, no. Are we going to buy more and keep complaining, absolutely.

Scent:Almost non-existent.Sensitive skin:My skin can be a bit touchy, but I've had no issues while using this. Also, it doesn't dry my skin out.Effectiveness:Very good. When I have a small area of breakout, this takes care of the area within 48-72 hours.Overall:This is a good spot treatment cream. It certainly works. However, it's a bit "premium" for what it is.4 stars

I've been blessed to never have severe acne issues. Sure...I've had a pimple here and there -- and always at the most inopportune times -- but I've never had a regular acne treatment regimen. I've fallen in love with the Tiege products over the past year, and this treatment was something I decided to try. My personal preference is a pretty clean face throughout then day, so I use this every other night on my face while I sleep to do its work overnight, when I'm least likely to touch my face regularly. After a couple of weeks usage, I definitely feel like it keeps my "during-the-day" dryness to a minimum. And I can confirm that there have been no pimples since I started...haha.
