If you just need a 100% waterproof coat to keep the rain off while doing the straps on a HGV then it's perfect. Probably not so good for strenuous work. Waterproof and breathable are never a good bedfellow unless you pay big money.

I bought this as a replacement over jacket for motor cycling and for the most part it is waterproof with the exception of one trip out in heavy rain, where I don't think I had the flap inside the zip in the right place as I did have a wet strip all down the front. My fault, not the jacket, so now I carefully make sure that the flap is in the correct position.One negative point that I feel is important to mention is that the pockets are incredibly wide, but shallow, so are useless to me on the bike. There is no fastening either, so I have no confidence that if I put anything in them and then ride, that the wind wouldn't flap the pockets open and whatever I'd placed in the shallow/wide pockets would fall out. Hence only 4 stars as this means I need to put my keys/wallet or whatever away properly in another pocket under the jacket before zipping it up (ensuring that the zip flap is properly aligned each and every time I fill up with fuel or whatever)That said as a waterproof jacket, I've been using this now for around 6 months including riding through some very heavy downpours and once had a truck that I was over taking splash a massive puddle all over me, completely filling my boots, but at least the top half of me was dry :-)

Very pleased with this purchase. Got XXL so I can wear fleece underneath when really cold. Excellent fit, comfy and warm with great hi-vis. Lightweight but sturdy although it does have a plastic zip. Just been out cycling. Started to rain but jacket is very waterproof. I looked for cycling jackets first, but some are ridiculous prices. This does the job perfectly and is really good value for money.

It's absolutely great, quality rain coat, 🌧 over the past few weeks it's hardly stopped raining and yet when I took the coat off NO rain had got through it. I would definitely recommend this coat too keep you dry.

This jacket could be so much better with a bit of thought. There is a flap INSIDE the zip, which I guess deflects the wind but it is really annoying because it catches in the zip every time you try to do it up. Also once the rain has breached the zip it is inside your clothes - it would be much more sensible having that flap OUTSIDE the zip held in place with a few Velcro patches so the wind and rain don't get to the zip in the first place.Also for me it is a few cm too short, as seems to be the fashion these days, but it doesn't cover the rear end, stops halfway down it. I guess the argument is to couple the jacket with matching trousers but one does not always want to wear full water proofs.Would I buy it again? For a one-off disposable job yes [this was a for a 3 week stint offshore] but not as a long term part of my inclement weather wardrobe.

A good quality jacket. Bought for my son who works in construction and he said it is really waterproof but not too bulky so easy to do physical work without restriction.

This keeps me dry from the outside but gets you so wet on the inside because it makes you very warm. There are vents in it but they don't do much.Both the price and quality were good.

Perfect fit and does its job wonderfully! Best rain gear I've owned. I work outdoors as an electrician and this has held up to my work conditions and activity level. Can't beat it at this price point.

My son wears it on rain nights while walking the dog or doing chores outside. Great reflective strips. Size 3XL fits a big person.

Alles topp! Nachdem das Material offenbar auch den Mäusen in meiner Garage zusagt habe ich die Jacke direkt ein 2. Mal bestellt - nun wird sie mäusesicher verwahrt. Es gab bei der ersten Jacke nur ein Problem: im Ärmel ist ein eingesetzes Bündchen das hat sich leider nach relativ kurzer Zeit gelöst. War für mich kein Problem.
