Watched the series and loved it the books are good quality buy the French opposite of sherlock holmes but still a gentleman,hours of great reading a must for crime lovers

I watched the Lupin series and wanted to have a stab at the book that is referenced so much

Make no mistake: Maurice LeBlanc is a deity amongst French authors, his energetic writing style preceding him, and Arséne Lupin is a fantastic character. The problem is the product. The covers don't really fit the characterisation, the translator is left uncredited (undoubtedly plagiarised from another source), and the quality is overall quite poor. Other products from Classic Editions seem to have problems with text having poor page breaks; this doesn't have that, but the font is a bit odd. However, if these don't concern you, then these are perfectly good ways to read among the best French fiction in English.
