BEST bang for the buck
After doing extensive searches for a decent yet reasonable wireless mic system, I landed on this product. What is astonishing to me is that 99% percent of purchases of this mic system is that they only purchase the ONE transmitter. For $20.00 more, you get an additional transmitter, which can be used as an extra in case you lose or damage the first transmitter. PLUS, with two transmitters you get REAL stereo. Such as when you have two subjects/talents where each needs to wear a transmitter for interviews or out in the field. The viewer/listener benefits because of the separation in speaker/output from each of the two individuals speaking on their own transmitter.BTW, the power/transmission output is more than enough to transmit to the source/input device. The difference in speech quality comes from, when using a lavalier, is in the lav mic you purchase. You know the old saying: "you get what you pay for." In this case, it's oh so true.Another "BTW" which is totally directed to the manufacturer, KIMAFUN. You don't see pros out there with their wireless mic systems with "KINAFUN" do you? Why? Because, the name appears as a toy. Heck, why not call it Toys-R-Us? Me? I covered over the name with a black marker. I might even create a well known brand name and stick it on the transmitter and receiver. For those, including myself, who has tried to insert the receiver's spring-loaded tongue into the slot of a camera's hot/cold shoe, seems Kimafun has made the tongue a bit to thick. So, what I've done is made a 3D printed male to female cold shoe with the top/female portion a bit larger to accommodate the receiver's tongue. You'll find the file (for those who have a 3D printer) on Thingiverse. Just use tags: cold shoe; hot shoe; Kimafun. In the search bar type in 5627324.

Really nice, compact, and versatile wireless microphone system. Easy to use and good quality.
Although I am not a video professional, I really like this compact wireless microphone system. I do shoot videos sometimes on my phone and Sony mirrorless camera (kids recitals, etc.) and internal mikes are notoriously poor comparing to dedicated external mikes. I have a small external microphone that I usually plugin and mount on a cold shoe or hold it in my hand and it works pretty well. However, having a wireless microphone allows a much better capture of the sound exactly where you want to capture it and regardless where the camera is. Having an ability to clip the transmitter on the subject and then capture clear audio without variations regardless of the distance is very convenient and perfect for a good final video. This little system is very capable and based on some testing that I have done it is more than capable of delivering good quality audio capture pretty far from the subject. During my tests, I recorded audio while increasing the distance between transmitter and receiver. I was not able to push it to the advertised range of 160 ft (50 m) but I did get it to over 100 feet and it was still delivering good signal and clear audio. I am positive it can be pushed more then 100 ft but consider other variables - like clear line of sight, etc. I did not hear any additional artifacts introduced as I increased the distance. Background noise was picked up depending on the area where I was in due to the microphone being omni-directional, but that's expected. The package comes with a receiver (larger unit), transmitter (smaller unit), dual charging USB-C cable (charge both units with one cable at the same time), smartphone cable, camera cable, lavalier microphone, windshield ("dead cat"), instructions manual, and a carry case. Very neat package and everything fits well in the case. It took a bit over an hour to charge both units with the included dual cable, and they were ready to work. I used my phone for testing using the included phone audio cable. Note that if your phone has USB-C plug (or an iPhone connector) you will need an appropriate adapter to connect audio cable to the phone port. I used USB-C to audio adapter and it worked great. I used Filmic Pro app on my phone to test external microphone and I compared recording made using the phone built-in mike vs this external one. The results were night and day as expected. Audio using this external mike was loud, crisp, and clear - much better then the phone microphone. I did not hear any hissing or static in the recording; although the sound was not as rich as I hoped. The good thing is that you can always add a higher quality lavalier microphone to this system if you would like to upgrade. For my needs, the sound is nice and clear and a huge improvement over the internal mike. Also, being able to move freely around your subject and not worry about the sound being recorded differently (or not recorded at all) is fantastic. The unit is rated at 5 hours of use on a single charge. I did not validate the exact battery live but after using it for an hour or so battery level barely dropped. This system is great for recording videos, vlogging, interviews, etc. As far as using it for conferencing (zoom, skype, teams, etc.) it will work but it will most likely pick up the echo from the sound coming from the speakers since it is omni-directional.Overall, really great and professional grade system that delivers good results at very reasonable cost. I definitely recommend to check it out if you are looking for this type of system.

It's a nice wireless unit that is small enough to blend in and be useful.
This system is a nice little package, nice case and plenty of wires needed and even has a "furry mouse" to help keep wind noise down. There is only really one down side, the transmitter only has two LEDS, nothing else. The receiver does have all the information for both the receiver and the transmitter, so that accounts for the lack of info on the transmitter, but having the battery level at least on it would have been nice. The sound quality is decent using the external microphone. The internal one sounds thin and generally not a good sound, but honestly, I would never use it. The external lav is what should be used, the internal is merely a nice little backup, never should be your main. All in all, this will be great for those little set ups that you just need a quick interview, or maybe a Live Stream where you are using your laptop and a decent webcam. Yeah, the built-in audio on the laptop will work, but for the cost, its worth having a nice wireless lavalier system. It charges via a dual-head USB-C connection, so charging is quick and easy. This will be a nice addition to keep in the camera bag.

Must have for a vlogger
I recently purchased this external microphone for use with Facebook Live, and it has been a game-changer. The setup is easy - simply plug it into the bottom of your phone and you're ready to go. It also has a convenient feature that allows you to charge your phone while using the microphone. The on/off switch is easy to locate, and the audio quality has drastically improved according to viewer comments. Prior to using this mic, I received complaints about sketchy audio, but now the feedback has been positive. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Easy to use, clean voice
Have been using facebook live without an external mic and finally decided to buy one. This one is so simple to use. Plug it into the bottom of my phone, has a place to charge my phone while in use which is great since I had my phone shut off during a broadcast due to battery life. It is easy to know when the mic is on or off and best of all, the complaints of sketchy audio have stopped and instead the comments have been about how they can finally hear all of the audio.

Clear recording
Easy install - just plug one piece to C port on your phone, turn on both pieces - receiver in the phone and mic as well. They automatically pair right away. Mic is a clip which you can attach to your shirt. Tested by recording a short video - sound is clear. From now on I can record videos whole phone in holder and I can step away from the phone and no sound distortion. It does what it suppose to do.

Possibly inconsistent build but otherwise fantastic
This one is a bit hard for me to rate it 3 stars... because it really does so many things so well, but based on other reviews I am inclined to believe there's pretty big variances as far as the quality of the audio goes, hence the consistency of the build quality. It could easily be a 5 stars or at least a solid 4, 4.5 but alas, the unit I received does not correspond to that scoring. So to first address the issue: the background noise level is really high and distracting. Background hiss. This sounds like what can typically be a grounding issue or something else wrong with the system that powers the mic. Like when the phantom power of an XLR system is faulty, a relatively high level of white noise at all times. This situation does not change regardless of the distance between the unit and the receiver, nor when you use the lavalier microphone or any other 3.5mm microphone.Which is unfortunate, as the level of background noise isn't easy to clean in post production without destroying the quality of the recording. And most unfortunate as the sound profile of this microphone set is pretty good! it is clear and pretty true to life (neutral) with the built-in mic and the lavalier is pretty good too.Now the rest of the unit isn't perfect but for the price and all the included accessories, the imperfection is relatively insignificant. The design is quite neat but not every feature seems to work as intended. One of the prime example would be the clip that doubles as a cold-shoe adapter. The overall size of the cold-shoe adapter is just a bit too large to fit properly on a camera's hot shoe. It might fit alright for a camera cage with slightly oversized cold shoe mounts, but definitely not directly on a camera. And now while the receiver has a neat little screen that is simple and intuitive, the transmitters are blank with just two LED lights. There isn't too much to see, but it also means it is less distracting on camera. As previously mentioned, this is a easy to use and very solid little wireless mic set, that also is relatively inexpensive. It is easily a 4 to 5 star if you manage to get one without audio issues. If this is a problem you encounter, I think it might be fair to reach out to the seller or Amazon for an exchange. Like mentioned, the sound profile is quite good, it is versatile with all the extra accessories included... so the potentials are amazing.
