Really good, easy-to-use pressure cooker
I use my pressure cooker a lot - probably two or three times a week. Pressure cookers save money, because they don't take as long to cook things, but produce (in my opinion) much better results than, say, a microwave. I use mine for things like making my own bone broth Very easy and quite quick), cooking brown rice, cooking beans and making delicious stews, casseroles and curries. I've had an earlier version of these Tower One Touch cookers for several years and it's been reliably brilliant. But unfortunately I managed to drop the pressure cooker lid from some height onto a road, and the plastic twist-lock was smashed and the lid dented so it no longer worked, so I needed to buy a new one. I cosidered other styles and brands for a while, then realised that cooking with this one is so reliable and automatic that I wanted to stick with it. It's very well made, easy to use and clean, and easy to obtain replacement seals when needed. The twist lock is designed so that the pan can't be opened until the pressure has reduced, so one of the 'dangers' that people sometimes worry about with pressure cookers is avoided. The instruction manual with the pan is very clear and includes step-by-step 'how tos' on both use and cleaning; sample recipes and a troubleshooting guide. I think even someone who has never used a pressure cooker could learn how quickly with the guidance given. If you want to save power, save time and save money while still cooking the sort of dishes that usually take several hours, I'd thoroughly recommend this pan.

EXCELLENT PIECE OF WELL MADE KITCHEN KIT.
I've used pressure cookers for over 5 decades. This is the best one yet. Well made, sleek, good looking and feels rugged and durable. Capacity is perfect for two to four people depending on what you're cooking, obviously. No leakage, solid locking mechanism and safety features. Functions perfectly for everything from soup to joints. Excellent to have two pressure settings and steam release. Cooking times are reduced dramatically. A 750g Gammon joint cooked to tender perfection in 25 mins. Excellent value for money as the one I bought was a "returned but in mint condition item". The manufacturercs box wasn't even damaged. Saved about 25% on brand new price. Result!

The company has major flaws when it comes to parts
Been using Pressure cookers for many decades ranging from Skyline, Prestige and other brands but my previous aluminium model was getting longer at pressurising, chose this model [a] its stainless, [b] it doesnt have a long double handle sticking out. I like to have spares of items that can deteriorate or get damaged etc, with this in mind I looked for a spare sealing ring / gasket, this is where I deduct 2 stars, there are no spares for this product, it is the use of stainless steel that determines what ring is suitable, they are in abundance for the aluminium models but not this, even approaching Tower themselves drew a blank, there is no stock, their reply was wait 30 days and enquire again, an absolute shambles I have been using this quite a while now and am changing my opinion for a couple of reasons, firstly the only way to get it to create enough steam to start pressurising is to use the large burner on the hob, this creates a stink of hot plastic as heat is rising up the side to the handles, secondly is the cooking time , more stars deducted, traditionally with all previous pressure cookers the rule of thumb was for diced potatoes, carrots etc 7 minutes from pressurising to end of cooking to steam release, this model must run at a lower pressure as the same contents are taking 10 minutes. I may well resurrect my 1970's Skyline cooker which was so simple to use and gave excellent results every time plus having 3 segmented baskets so everything you cook doesn't have to be a stew

Well-designed.
My cooker works well. I have not experienced any issue with it. In my opinion, it is well made and worth the price. If you cook for a family, you may want to choose a larger size. To avoid accidents when using the cooker, be sure to read the manual.

All good.
Well made, works well. The lid has a good seal, which should last a good few years.
