Tefal GV7466 Express Anti-Scale High Pressure Steam Generator, 2200 W, 6.5 Bar, Blue/White

This is my third steam generator iron and is by far the best. I was guided by the excellent reviews of the product and found them to be accurate. It warms up quickly and the steam produced is powerful. The Power Zone button is a great addition and I did a pair of pure linen trousers in no time at all. I find it easy and lightweight to use and it really glides across the fabric. I would have no hesitation in recommending this iron.

Bought to replace my old Breville that eventually gave up after many years of service. The Tefal is definitely more powerful producing a forceful spray of steam such that for thinner garments, it is sufficient to only iron on one side (assuming you have the appropriate ironing board). This save time and money! A slight negative is that the hand unit is heavier than my previous iron. If one is of smaller stature, you may find the hand unit a bit heavy or awkward after prolonged use. You may want to actually see and feel the unit physically before purchasing if this is a concern. Otherwise, build quality seems good and I would recommend the unit.

I’ve bought Tefal irons before and I’ve never been disappointed. I had the last one for 7 years and it developed a fault which would have cost me more than a new one. I was very loathe to do this...but bought this iron and so pleased I did. I didn’t think you could improve a steam generator much ...but this one is even better than my last one and makes ironing so easy.

Not as good as my old Tefal which had a removable water fill. I got this one as could not afford my old one but this will have to do. This feels more like a toy than my pro tefal express that I had before. It does the job and just hope it lives up to the job as I like all my clothes ironed as hate creased clothing.

Bought this iron to replace a well known brand steam generator iron as the previous iron saturated clothes in hot water, not steam. I used this iron for the first time today. The iron is light, in weight, to hold. It didnt take long to get to temperature (a few minutes). It glides easily over the clothes and the end result is well ironed clothes for very little effort. I really like the safety clip to make sure the iron cannot move whilst heating up (this feature wasn't on the last iron and I had to pay meticulous attention to make sure I didn't burn myself or cause a fire or heat damage due to the iron sitting "free" on its stand) I found the instructions easy to follow and the dials are labelled with easy to follow language. Although this iron is expensive, I feel I've made a good investment for a quality product, which I hope will last me a long time.

Fantastic iron at a great price. Would never go back to a regular iron after getting a steam generating one. Glides through the ironing in really quick time. Feels light and comfortable to use, great idea to have a plug storage hole on the side. Iron clips onto generator too which is a god send to store and carry!

I love this iron - you can get through tough ironing (i.e. linens) at a fraction of the time. The constant fill feature is great and works, the iron temperature regulation is great and the steam pulse is strong enough to remove really tough creases with ease. I've used it vertically for curtains etc and the steam jet is strong enough. Only issue I've had is with the limescale plug- make sure its back on tight otherwise next time you turn the iron on jets of steam & water come pulsing out the side.

a fantastic iron but it blown within 8 months.... ive check the fuse and its not that. Its keeps sparking under the panel at back inside where the wires are... im not happy I run a ironing shop and it was fantastic..... what is the guarantee ??????
