So, I have an identical body tool that just does the chamfering, and it works really well. I deburr laser cut aluminum....miles of it. The chamfering tool is great if that is what you want. I really prefer to use a small trim router with one of the amana MR series 1/16-3/32'' trim bits, but the trim router is unwieldy on the parts that i'm deburring, and the cut quality is usually lacking. I have been looking forever for a solution that allows me to cut a roundover with the pneumatic tool, but there has only been one that I have found on tricktools (identical looking tool) but that tool costs about $500 and the roundover cutter is extra. Once I found this I immediately ordered it and it is EVERYTHING I WANTED.To better answer some of the questions I saw above, NO- the RADIUS IS NOT ADJUSTABLE...there isn't such a cutter available this small that has an adjustable radius. The radius is a fixed 1.5mm (1/16") . The adjustment is the DEPTH OF CUT. The radius will NEVER CHANGE. That's just not how it works. If you want to have a complete roundover from edge to surface- you cannot have .1mm-1.5mm, but you can have very precise control over how much material you remove from an edge.The round base is finely threaded to the tool, and you can raise and lower it with a good degree of finesse. The ring with measurements is threaded onto the outside of the base, and you can adjust it in minute increments and lock it in place to use as a stop. Both the increment ring and the base can be locked in place with set screws. The increment ring has one, and the base has two set screws. I haven't had a problem with them coming loose, which is really nice. If you are trying to deburr, or soften an edge on metal just allowing a slight cut will do the job, but you won't have a complete radius. If you are just deburring then I would really recommend the chamfer cutters because you can add a really slick slight chamfer VERY QUICKLY.YOU NEED A BIG BOY COMPRESSOR. Your pancake porter cable compressor will NOT run this tool. It calls for 90 PSI and uses all of it. I wouldn't even bother without a 20+ Gallon compressor that can run 120 PSI with at least a few CFM. I run mine at 120 PSI all day long with very little downtime (manual recommends not exceeding 90psi....I have not had a problem.)DO OIL THIS TOOL- and FREQUENTLY- If you are running on the edge of compressor capability the ONLY way you will make it is to give her a squirt of air tool oil every 30 minutes or so. I have a monster compressor and it isnt a problem, but I do notice that the tool will perform slower and more weakly the longer it has gone without being lubricated...I mean you're spinning the thing at 20,000+ RPM without active lubrication so that makes sense.DRY AIR IS YOUR FRIEND- I live in a VERY humid environment and havent bought a good quality refrigerated drier for my new shop and I let my small inline dessicant dryer fill up and the MOMENT the tool saw a few drops of water it started sputtering and performance suffered drastically (power, not cutting quality). So keep that in mind.The cutter installed is just the Chamfer. 45 degrees. The cutters are two triangular inserts, very much like you would find if you are familiar with indexable milling and turning cutters. You can remove and rotate them with the included tools when they dull (basically never on aluminum, yay for me!) and you end up with three total "cutters" per insert. The tolerances are tight and I have not noticed any chatter that would lead me to believe the indexes are poorly machined.Included in a small bag is a pair of replacement cutters that at first glance might seem the same, but are in fact the radius cutters, they have a small radius indent at the top of each corner on the left hand side. Also included are two more screws for the cutters, and VERY IMPORTANTLY, another guide bearing. The guide bearing is NOT a replacement for the chamfer guide bearing. It is the appropriately sized bearing for the radius cutter ONLY.IF YOU WANT TO CUT A RADIUS YOU MUST REPLACE THE GUIDE BEARING. If you do not. It will look dumb, and people will laugh at you. But you won't really hurt anything.IF YOU ARE WANTONLY RECKLESS LIKE I AM AND DONT WANT TO USE THE TOOL AS INTENDED- I fully recommend taping the handle in the on position and installing a little inline ball valve to turn the tool on and off.

The tool was working great until the screw that held on the bearing came loose and now it is useless with out it. I need to know the size of that bolt????? Help me out please so I can get a new bolt and get back to work. I could no locate anywhere that tells any info on the hardware for the tool. And they do not provide an extra bolt to hold on the bearing. It's a shame I only got to use it once and only for a few seconds.

This is extremely loud. Need to wear ear protection as well as everyone else in the shop. Rated at 90 psig so will need a pressure regulator if your air system is pressurized at over 90 psig. Within 1 minute of use the bearing and the screw flew off. Lucky I was able to find the bearing and now need to order screws. I recommend that you check tightness of all the screws before use. Makes a nice chamfer. Do not know how long it will last as I cannot use until I get some screws into the shop.

A more controlled and quicker way to ease an edge or clean up a burr, as opposed to a file or a grinder. Remember though, that it can’t cut any smoother than the surface the guide bearing is riding on. The cutters have 3 edges so you can rotate them as they wear out. It came with the set of chamfering cutters installed and a set of radius cutters for doing a small round over. The radius cutters have their own guide bearing, which is larger than the other, so you have to pay attention to which one you’re using. As with any radius cutter, you can’t change the size of the cut by adjusting the depth, like you can with the chamfering cutter. Be sure to check and tighten everything before your first use. My guide bearing fell off. I found it on the floor, screwed it on snugly and it’s been working fine ever since. I like that they have the cutters available in quantity at a decent price. To test it, I dialed it down to the deepest chamfering cut and it measured about 1/16” by 1/16” with about a 3/32” face.
