A lot of rod for very little $$
I have a Penn 109 (with the level wind assembly removed) mounted on this beauty! The rod is so responsive that it is a chore to keep from casting a Tony Accetta #7 spoon over into my neighbor's back yard!This is the 3rd Rippin' Lips rod in my arsenal. "You can't get something for nothing but sometimes you can get a lot for a little!"

Best bang for the buck!!
I own a lot of high end rods(tangling with catfish, warrior rod, Big Cat Fever rods, etc) and must say this rod is my second favorite rod overall. Just feels and performs excellent with an unmatched price point! I own 5. Get them before the price goes up!

nice rod, but dont like it for catfishing. it feels almost exactly like the ugly stik gx2
i really dont like this rod for catfishing. however, it is an excellent rod for bass fishing or fishing with low weight lures. unfortunately i had to get a replacement sent because the first one had damage on the handle. it looks like it was cut with razor.it feels almost exactly like the ugly stik gx2
