These fit perfectly on my Concept 2 exercise bike. Even if I flip the peddle over, they clear the ground (just). They are sturdy, being made of metal, unlike previous plastic clips I have had that broke quickly.

You're whacking along through the muddy cycle tracks of West Wales. 'Welsh sunshine' as we call it here, a light mist as opposed to sheeting it down, the terrain boggier than ever. Adhesion between tyre and surface oscillates almost with every grinding turn of the pedals. Slippery-gloop, gloopery-slip, gloopy-gloopy, gloop-gloop. Momentum seizes in the oozes. Monty and me are going to ground. And it's going to be a wet one.... I don't have city cyclist quick release go-faster shoes, perhaps a trifle flimsy in such condition. Luckily I have on my old combats. So enough muscle-burn and mud-sliding for now and I'm off and running. On two legs, over unknown terrain in poor visibility. And I'm still ahead of the rest of the field. This IS a compliment, solicited by amazon, requesting feedback. But I have been genuinely impressed. When I opened the parcel my first thoughts were along the lines of 'a lot of cash' for things so light, almost flimsy looking.These deep toe clips do the job - perfectly. I'm more confident in traffic too. Forced to dismount in a hurry into a puddle or pothole? I never fear losing control, even in the face of four-wheel lunatics.seemingly out to smear me and Monty all over the road. I know I can crash-dismount with at least my feet protected by my steel toecaps.held safely in the grip of this product. Well designed, and well made - thank you whoever.

Well made. They do impact with the ground a little wheeling bike if not entirely straight and do make chain cleaning a slight extra bit off work but fit trainers and hard base cycling shoes very well. Seeking with foot is not too hard. Essential to combine with MKS pedals, they align but do not fit classic mtb pedals' reflector holes because of the pedal rims.

Purchased to help stabilise and locate feet on pedals without the need to have straps for quick dismount. Worked perfectly. Well made and sturdy without much flex. My normal day shoes size 10 fit comfortably into the clips. Supplied as a pair complete with fixing nuts, bolts, washers and allen key. They are made of chromed steel so don't know if they will eventually rust. Pity they are not made of stainless steel but maybe they have to be a special spring steel.

Despite adding a protective coating, the clips started to corrode after a year. Not terrible but a shame - keeping the rust off will be a another job. Still happy to use them for the aesethetic appeal, however.

After trying clipless pedals and coming off the bike twice due to having to make urgent stops and not being able to clip out I decided that they are to dangerous for uk roads but I wanted something for my foot to push against . Very happy with these clips easy to fit and do a great job.

I have used these toe clips for the last 5 or 6 years until one of them cracked across half of the front. Can't really complain as I cycled almost everyday. My bike is quite small so one of the clips can drag along if the pedal crank is vertical. So they have had some fairly rough treatment. I could have kept using the old ones but they were getting a bit scratched and rough looking. Really happy to buy them again, £10.14 is not much for the extra comfort and positioning they give on the pedal, and they do not trap your foot so you can free your toe easily if you need to put your foot down. I think they are great value and good quality for the price.

The whole right-angle of the pedal mounting tab and the bottom needs to be much thicker, or have a support, so that it can't be accidentally bent forward and down. I may see if I can make one, from a Steel right-angle bracket.

Je roule depuis des siècles sur des vélos mono-vitesse et j’utilise depuis toujours des pédales MKS qui sont top (mais requièrent des semelles rigides) J’avais avant le modèle de cale-pieds avec sangle, génial mais trop fin pour la majorité des chaussures, j’en ai cassé un dans une chute et je les ai remplacés par ce modèle plus large. Il est vraiment très bien et plus polyvalent, mais un poil moins profond, on appuie plus avec l’avant du pied, mais ça me va bien. Le prix relève du grand banditisme (Amazon n’y est pour rien c’est partout pareil) mais une fois en selle on l’oublie. On n’oublie pas en revanche l’efficacité de l’ensemble pédale/cale-pieds.

Zum Produkt selber: tut was es soll und sieht - bei der passenden Pedale - Klasse aus! Achtung, und dafür 1 Stern Abzug - bei empfindlichen Schuhen - diese werden durch das Metall beschädigt. Ich denke mit ein wenig mehr abgerundeten Kanten könnte man hier entgegenwirken.

MKS quality. Fits all my riding shoes well enough. Glad that the material is somewhat malleable which improves comfort and accommodates a wider range of toe boxes. It's not flimsy though - I've accidentally stepped on it a couple of times instead of slipping my foot in, and it's no worse for wear
